Pay back (Part - 2)

Ransacking through her closet to get a proper dress so as to disguise herself. Nothing really seemed to be working since she had no clothes which fit an assassin.

"Should I stole a cloth from someone? But I don't really know anyone… hmm.. this will be better," she mumbled while staring at a black hat and a mask she bought while shopping with Mike.

The moment she touched her father forehead, some memories of the previous Theo and Mr. Castillo entered her mind. But the Theo in that memory seemed very weird since she rejected her father without any reason and accepted Kevin even though they bullied her.

"What's really the reason behind her weird behavior? I can understand that she was sick, but even if she was sick, still one can easily distinct between kindness and hatred or maybe I am wrong since I never experienced it," she mumbled and glanced at the clock.

It was past 1 am and the right time for her to leave her room and went rampant for getting her revenge. A black hat and a mask on her face, black T-shirt and white bandaged sleeves from inside and a trouser with black shoes.

She hid a sharp knife inside her trouser near her belt and locked her room door from inside.

"This way no one will be able to enter inside and find out that I am not here," she said and opened her window to step out.

Taking a deep breath, she hoped out and made sure that she doesn't fall in the swimming pool.

Her main aim was the Lilit family eldest son who is an official in the imperial palace and the son of the Marshal.

Since she had memorized the address after going through her father's memory, she simply jumped from one roof to other and reached his bungalow.

Only one room light was still glowing and that was also on the second floor where she could see the Lilit eldest son on the corridor while she herself was above his second floor roof.

He was talking with someone with a bright smile. "Ahh! If it weren't for his guards he would have died today. At least if he died, then it would have become easier for us to get rid of his son or maybe we could have controlled him since his son knows nothing about how this world works," he said with a chuckle.

Theo who was silently hearing his words glared him with a smirk from upward and mumbled, "Yeah, Mr. Kade Lilit! Go on with your bluff because from tomorrow onwards, you will even fear while thinking about such things".

As soon as he went inside the room she jumped down from the roof and entered inside.

"So, how is it going Kade Lilit!" she said while turning her voice a little hoarse so as to avoid getting found out in future.

He turned back while being startled and backed off as his eyes saw her, but since she was wearing her hat and her head was a little lowered, he couldn't see her eyes.

Even with her mask on, he could see her smirk and glanced at the wall behind him. A small red button on it which is used in an emergency situation to call for the guards, he tried to punch on it but stopped as she threw her knife beside the red button which stopped his hand from reaching it.

"You must be the most stupidest assassin to enter inside my room. Don't you know that I am the marshal's son? Now quickly tell me who send you and I might consider leaving you alive," he said while trying to hide his nervousness.

Theo chuckled and glanced at the pistol placed on the wall behind her, she grabbed it, and pointed toward him, "I have never used it but have seen others using it, so how about I try it for the first time on you".

He gasped but at the same time he felt relieved after knowing that the assassin in front of him is a beginner. He laughed loudly and again tried to reach the red button but Theo ended up pulling the trigger.

It shot just above his head on the wall and he ended up fainting from the fear.

"Be happy that I am leaving you alive or if it was my previous self, I would have killed you without blinking twice," Theo said as she stepped toward him.

Next morning she woke up after the sun raised, she yawned and stepped out as she heard the staffs messy voices.

Everyone was murmuring while Mr. Castillo was sitting with a stern face, his eyes on his smart phone.

Theo who was still on the stair rail yawned and thought, "Is the news already spread about it! Gosh, I feel so tired!".

Mr. Castillo glanced at Theo as she was yawning and said, "Did you not get a good night sleep yesterday?".

Theo breath stuck as his question startled her and she coughed, "Cough, cough.. it was because I was worried for you," she said while smiling awkwardly.

He nodded and asked her to have a seat beside him. As she took a seat, he showed her the social media page which was trending at that moment.

'The eldest son of the Lilit family, got hung on the temple pillar alive by his enemy' Theo read it aloud and giggled as she saw his photograph.

Above his head, there was something written with a red marker 'This sinner deserves death'.

Mr. Castillo was staring Theo's face as she was looking at the social media page.

He was a little bit suspicious but it didn't made any sense to his own self, since he never told her about the person who tried to hurt him.

It was obvious that Theo knew nothing so she could do nothing, but he couldn't stop feeling weird for some reason.

"Who do you think did such things?" he asked so as to get a reply and match it with the situation.

She shrugged her shoulder and stood up, "If I knew that person, then I would have gone to have a duel, but unfortunately that's not the case. I will take my leave now since I need to get ready and go to the academy to have a thorough look at how it looks like".

Mr. Castillo was still staring her as she left and his thoughts was running amok, after all, the person who tried to harm him was hung next day on the temple pillars after being a total mess.

"Maybe, I am thinking too much," he mumbled and called for Mike.

"Is the task of choosing a personal guard for Theo, done?" he asked.

Mike nodded, "She will be arriving by tomorrow and don't worry, she is a loyal girl and is of the same age as his highness Theo, so they will get along well".

Mr. Castillo glanced at Mike confidence face and asked, "Who is she and why are you so sure?".

"She is the one you saved when she was only 8 years old and to repay you back, she took part in guard selection competition and won, so I am pretty confident in her," he replied, his nose held high and eyes shining.

Mr. Castillo thought for a second and nodded, "Then take a guard and go with Theo to the Valmanchal academy, Prince Jasper would be waiting for him there".

At first Mile felt excited since he was going to the academy which would refresh his past memories, but after hearing that Prince Jasper would be there, too, his smile dropped a little.

Valmanchal academy:

They went to the college branch of the Valmanchal academy.

Since this year, Jasper passed his school life, he was going to give the entrance exam for college and he wanted Theo to directly enter the college rather then going to schools.

"Young.. Your highness, it's become a habit for me to call you that, so I made that mistake often, but young master, don't you feel bad that you are directly entering the college rather then going to schools. Will you be able to understand higher education without learning the basic first?" he said, his eyes filled with pity.

Theo sneered as she hated that eyes which looked at her pitifully and looked away after giving him a glare.

"Don't be angry, your highness! Even if you are intelligent, still others will bully you and I am afraid of that. How about you convince, Prince Jasper to let you attend the school of Valmanchal academy rather then College, after all they are both a part of this academy," he urged while blinking with his puppy eyes.

Theo gave him an annoyed look which was enough for Mike to understand that he should keep his mouth shut.

"Tsk! If you want to die, then go and tell this things to Prince Jasper yourself," she said.

He looked the other way while pressing his lips.

The college campus was quite big with different shape of building decorating it and students walking in and out through mostly one building which was the office area where the paper work was done.

As Theo and Mike started to walk on the path that directly stops after reaching the stairs of the triangular building, a man with glossy green hair bumped into her and she fall down.

She first made an irritated face but as soon as she looked at him whose hands were reaching toward her so as to help her up, she gasped and stared him with her wide eyes as if staring a ghost.
