As soon as she was done talking to the former members of Crying Wolf, Ellie took River’s hand and did her best to look calm. On the inside, her emotions were churning like the ocean during a storm. She didn’t want anyone else to see that, though. She had to give them the impression that she was cool, calm, and collected.
