Chapter 9

That night at the party Sabrina got really drunk so I had to drive her home without mom knowing. Which was kinda hard with Silas. I used my eyes to shut him up. I also growled at him.

January 5th

It was Monday, the day of the week everyone despised. I sat down in chemistry class.

"Hey I got a contact in Wicked Hollows her name is Casey Stevens she says I have a relative names Artemis Blackwood, she's a witch so I might leave for a little while to got train her." Casey says

"What if I need rings?" I ask

"I have a stockpile in my house, here's a key." Casey said

The bell rung and class started.

Lunch has always been my favorite part of school. I just like the fact I have all my friends with me. We all sat down at our little lunch table. And ate lunch. It was quiet until we finished eating.

"So Casey told you about Artemis." Asked Eleanor

She is a human member of our friend group (not saying I like her... But some of my friends do so I have to deal with her.) but yet she's okay with the presence of the supernatural.

"Yeah." I said

"Apparently Wicked Hollows is another hotspot for the supernatural." Says Lola

"I looked Artemis up on Instagram and she has a lot of pictures with a girl named Adrianna." I say

"That's her best friend, Adrianna's a werewolf." Says Casey as she set her food down

"So do you know how long you'll be gone?" I ask

"I don't know, that depends on how fast of a learner Artemis is, I could also use a werewolf to come with me to help Adrianna and her werewolf skills... We don't want the supernatural to be a headline in the news." Casey says while taking a bite of her food

"I'll go." Ben volunteers raising his ring filled hand

"Cool, now that's settled how have your days been so far?" Casey asked

"Good." Most of us say

Then Lola kinda growled.

"What's wrong?" I ask

"My ex won't leave me alone." She said

"Which one?" I ask

Not at all implying she's a slut but she has three exs.

"Oliver Lynch." She said

"Why can't he just leave you alone?" I ask

"Apparently he wants to get back together." Lola sighed

Lola wasn't quite over Oliver yet.

"So what did you say to that?" I asked

"I said no." She said showing me her phone

We should get back together.

I don't know about that Ollie

Why not?

Because I like someone else

Yeah.

I gave her phone back.

"I hate when he does this." Lola says

"Me too." I say

I hate seeing Lola like this. I hated seeing any of my friends like that.

"Have any of you just looked back at your life and realized how much everyone has changed this year?" Asked Casey

"It's crazy to think that I once was human, yes." I say

"Yeah." Lola agrees

"I never would have thought I'd end up with this amazing girl." Theo smiled pulling me into a side hug

Casey and Ben rolled their eyes.

"Anyway," Casey said, "Remember that contact from Wicked Hollow."

We nodded.

"She texted me and asked when I'm coming." Casey said

"So when are you leaving?" I ask

"Today but I'll be there tomorrow." Casey said, "So start packing Ben and I'll come to your house to pick you up."

"Okay." Ben said as he shoved a fork full of food in his mouth

The bell rung which meant lunch was over and I had to go to gym. Great... But I was happy I had that hour with Ben, Theo, Lola, and Nick. I was kinda hoping Nick and Lola would talk things over.

I walked into the girls locker room and got dressed. I walked back out and today was volleyball again. It's starting to become a sport I'm good at.

"Hey, Parker... You and Stacy team captains, you get first pick." He said

"Lola." I said

"Vanessa." Stacey said

"Theo." I said

"Bridget." Stacy said

"Ben." I said

"Carly." Stacy said

"Nick." I said now Lola and Nick have to talk

"Carson." Stacey said

Each team had five members and their where four other teams.

The teams assembled and we got at our nets. It was my team against Stacy's. My team is all werewolves (Except one hunter) so we basically automatically win.

My team won every game. We where undefeated. Stacy gave me a dirty look as we headed to the locker room. I shook it off cuz haters gonna hate.

Later that day I went home. I sat down at my computer and did my English paper, we where learning about Greek gods. I was into that stuff but the teacher made is so boring and she also ruined it with all the sex between brothers and sisters and then sons and mothers I wanted to barf. But I managed to hold it in.

I got a text from Theo saying his brother just left with Casey. I replied,

Is that an invitation to come over?

He texted back,

Maybe

On my way.

I put my phone in my pocket. And turned half wolf and ran to Theo's house. I turned full human again. I opened the door and walked in.

"Hey babe, I've got Netflix and a warm blanket." He said

I ran over to him and sat right next to him. I snuggled up to him. He turned on arrow. Which was currently one of my favorite shows.

"Netflix and chilln' huh?" Asks Lola

"Woah, where'd you come from?" I asked

"The basement." She said, "I was training and I suggested to your boyfriend that he should take advantage of the couch time since Ben's not here... Don't worry I was just coming up for water... I won't interrupt again unless virginity is being questioned then I will come up here and kill the both of you... Or maybe just Theo."

Lola went back down stairs to train.

"No need." He said
