The man stood just behind Mike when he slashed his sword. Mike didn't even get a chance to dodge it. The sword left a deep mark on his back but as soon as that happened, Mike teleported himself behind that man and punched.

His fist collided on that man's back, slamming him on the ground. After that, he didn't stand up as the bones on his back cracked. The spirits coating his hands gave him the extra strength that he needed to kill. He still hasn't released his Chaos Spirit and Spear Spirit.
