Hua sat on the mat with her hands clasped together. She had her head bowed and when she heard what Titan asked her, her body immediately stopped moving. Why would Titan ask me that question? Is the enmity between Lewis and me that obvious?

Titan waited for an answer and when she got none, she assumed that Hua did not hear her and just kept quiet.

Hua raised her head and looked at Titan confused. "Did you just speak to me through my mind?" she looked inquisitive and wanted to know how Titan did that.

All of a sudden, Hua forgot all about what she wanted to talk to Titan about and wanted to know more about the amulets instead.

She recalled that on the day when the four of them sat for a meal, she couldn't inquiry about how the amulets behaved like that because Titan passed out and Zagan ran off and the last person was unimportant.
