Feel The Pain

One of them then urgently asked, "You OK Steph? You hungry? Cause you've usually eaten some lunch by this time when you're here."

Stephan grinned indulgently and told them, "Now that you mention it I have been feeling this growing pit in my stomach getting more insistent on sustenance. But I've been involved in this meeting and have not yet had the opportunity to satisfy my stomach's pleas."

The other assistant then offered, "Would you like for us to retrieve you some food for you then Steph?" She then looked past him, saw Dawn and Jessica, and added, "Oh. Uh... excuse me... umm. Sir?"

He chuckled as he replied "Relax Rachel this isn't a meeting with stuffy business guys -or, my bad, business ladies." as he pointed to Jessica he continued, "That blond over there is my sister and the other girl turned out to surprisingly be one of my neighbors that for some reason lives at that medical facility next to my house."

"That reason would be that I have a super paranoid father that, up until like two days ago, wouldn't even let me out of the building without like a dozen security guys and at least 2 nurses to make sure that no thugs, no drugs, and even no bugs could touch me." Dawn grumbled.

He then turned to Dawn, gave her a look of sympathy, and asked, "Would you two mind if we took a little bit of a lunch break before we finished our meeting?" They both agreed and told the girls what food they would like for the girls to pick up for them. When the girls then departed a few moments later Dawn asked Stephan for information on them.

He provided, "Well that redhead was pervert one who goes by the name of Rachel and the other one was pervert two that calls herself Holly. Being as they are almost always together and love to team up on stuff though, I usually just call them H&R or the HR department. Anyways, they're the assistants I was talking about earlier that are going to be my pilots during the spacecraft tests."

Curious, Dawn then asked, "Do they always ask you if you're hungry, or how you're feeling, or maybe even already know how you're feeling about something?"

"Not always." He answered, "They're not psychic or nothing but strangely they do seem to always know how their cohort is feeling or how they will feel about it if asked, but I've always just assumed it was because they live together and are ...umm... girlfriends and have been together in one form or another since their early teens."

Surprised at hearing that the ladies were a couple, Dawn paused as she blushed then supplied, "I think I know the real reason why. And, if you would invite them to join us for lunch, I can easily verify my theory and then I'll tell all three of you."

Seizing the opportunity, Jessica planted the thought in their heads to pick up some lunch for themselves when they picked up the lunch they were going to get for Stephan, Dawn, and her. A short while later, when Holly and Rachel got back to Stephan's office, he led everybody to the larger conference table across the hall and, using the girls already having their own lunches with them as the reason for his spontaneous suggestion, he invited the girls to join them for lunch using his boss voice so that they would be less inclined to refuse.

As they were all sitting down for their lunch Dawn intentionally made sure to subtly sit next to one of the girls and, while monitoring the mind of Holly, she secretly pinched Rachel's leg low enough to where Holly wouldn't be able to see her do it. When Holly then instantly jumped up and demanded that Dawn stop hurting Rachel, Dawn rapidly apologized to her. After Holly had then sat back down, she explained, "Stephan, I was more right than I expected. And I think I even have a surprising reason why they ended up as girlfriends so long ago."

Rachel then gave Dawn a wink with a sultry grin and teased, "If you'd pinched a little higher you could have felt the surprise for yourself." She then leaned her head onto Dawn's shoulder and moaned as she added, "And I like it when I get pinched up there cause it hurts oooohhhh sooooo gooooood."

Seeing Dawn's shocked look, Stephan chuckled as he replied to Dawn's offered reason, "Now that you have seen firsthand why she has earned the title of pervert one, let me guess, they love each other because they both love annoying folks so much they feel like a matching set?"

"Well, I'm not too sure about that part," Dawn responded while blushing from Rachel's seductive look, "but, umm, no. The real reason is because they're both empaths. Or rather 'feelers' as Jessica would term it." She then blushed more as she saw the raised eyebrow from Holly and the seductive winks from Rachel and interjected, "NO! Not that type of feelers ladies!" and continued telling Stephan, "Anyways, with both of them having this ability as strong as they obviously do, along with both probably being the only ones around them that had the abilities, they have grown so attuned to each other that they have bonded or maybe even somewhat merged their abilities."

Before Holly could respond Jessica interrupted with, "No, Holly, empath and feeler are not derogatory words that's she's using because of you and Rachel being each other's girlfriend. Now stay seated and close your mouth because, yes I did read your mind. And yes I did see your kinky daydream of you eating your lunch piece by piece off of Rachel's stomach. And so now, unless you want me to embarrass you even further by telling everyone all of your other daydreams, if you can calm down, sit down, and try to actively listen to what Dawn has to say, she will explain what she meant."

After momentarily gaping speechless at Jessica in surprise, Holly glanced at Rachel for support or confirmation and, after Rachel winked at her and nodded towards Dawn, she then turned her attention to Dawn who offered a shrug with her smile and provided the explanation of; "An empath or 'feeler' is someone that, without needing any external indication, can tell what someone else is feeling. Like how you could feel the pain Rachel felt when I pinched her earlier. It's also how you knew to ask Stephan if he wanted you to bring him something to eat earlier."

Thinking of painful memories of when they were discovering their abilities, Rachel worriedly asked how she found out about their talents and Dawn reassured her when she answered with, "Me and Jessica are what Jessica calls listeners or are officially referred to as telepaths and can pick up on the thoughts that run through people's minds when we choose to. So we were able to tell that you already knew he was hungry when you asked earlier. Also, I posses several similar abilities or talents and can therefore usually tell if someone is using a talent."

After giving them a second to process the information, Dawn then cautioned, "Now, being as you two have bonded so closely with each other, you two need to be extremely careful and not get stuck in a feedback loop, burn yourselves out, and essentially break your abilities or possibly even injure your brains."

Confused, Rachel asked, "What do you mean by a feedback loop?"

Dawn then shyly asked, "When you two are.... uhhh.... intimate... do you use your ability to detect if what you are doing is increasing the other person's pleasure?"

Embarrassed, both girls nodded. Dawn then added, "Now, if you were to both be doing this at the same time, one person's pleasure would thus increase the other person's pleasure and thus starting the feedback loop. Then, if the activity was continued for a sufficient length of time, your mind would begin to think that your own pleasure was not present unless you were providing pleasure to the other. And, if the experience that provided the sensations was powerful enough, it could even short out the mind's ability to detect another person's feeling and possibly even your own internal feelings."

Shyly, Holly provided, "We've actually come close to doing that before. When we first started getting intimate we would use our abilities to let us know if what we had been told others did provided actual pleasure or if they had been bragging or straight out lying. And, well, there was a couple of times where we were feeding off the pleasure we were giving the other so much that those areas actually got really tender and super sensitive. Which, if it hadn't of started to feel painful, we might have very easily burned ourselves out."

Dawn then elaborated with, "You two were very lucky to escape those incidences without harm. But ironically, it may have also helped you because it obviously caused your abilities to bond as closely with each other as they have along with showing you how to recognize your safe limits."

Rachel then asked, "So do more people have these talents or abilities and we never noticed?
