A Bad News: Derek's Recollection

'He even pretended as Ms. Sofia's relative,' Derek mentally scoffed while they returned inside their establishment.

"I'm going to check sister Heiz," Sofia said and waved goodbye to Derek. 

"She is upstairs, Miss Sofia," Derek informed her.

"Yes. Thank you, Derek." She then sauntered to the other side and walked to the staircase.

Heiz was actually on the other end and was about to take a step down. Her face is covered in a mask, hiding her beauty and identity. She was holding her baby in her arms. When she saw Sofia's, the two immediately exchanged a smile.

"I was about to look for you, sister Sofia," Heiz said and waited until Sofia finally arrived at the top of the stairs. She swayed her arms slowly, rocking her baby.

"Let's talk inside your room, sister Heiz," Sofia offered and noticed that the baby was asleep. Heiz could have left her inside the room. Instead, she actually carried her even if she was sleeping already.
