Chapter 49 Lawry

Hi guys, this is the next chapter.

Kanda and the others waiting for the arrival of Lawry at the main ship. They can see a ship as big as the ship that they currently resided slowly coming towards them before its stopping side by side with Kuune's ship. A transfer tunnel can be seen coming out from the other side of that ship before connecting with their ship.

~10 minutes later.

The door that connected with the transfer tunnel starts to open where two female figures can be seen coming from the tunnel.

The first figure has the same outfit just like Kuune where she wearing a body-tight suit with a cape adorned on her shoulder. The colour scheme for her suit is green and white colour while her cape in light green. She has black short hair until the back of her neck and a portion of front hair framing her face.

The second figure has long light brown hair until her waist where two bangs framing her face reached her chest. She is wearing a white one-piece dress where on top of her head, a pair of mechanical cat ears can be seen there.

"Everyone, thank you for welcoming me to this planet. I'm Lawry, nice to meet you." The female with one-piece dress where she named Lawry introduced herself while slightly bowing her body to Kanda and the rest.

"Nice to meet you, Lawry, and we also happy to have you here." Kuune returns back her greeting to Lawry.

Kuune introduces the people that coming with her here where she introducing Kanda at the end. Kanda can see Lawry looking at his face as Kuune introduced himself to her which he curiously asks: "Em...Lawry-san, is there anything on my face as you looking at me like that?"

There a slight changes on Lawry's eyes where it changes from her green eyes to golden eyes before she coming closer to him and Kanda had been hugged by her suddenly. A commotion occurs as Lawry hugging Kanda which he asks her: "Lawry-san? What are you doing right now?"

Her eyes changes back to her green eyes where she starts to realise about her blunder and quickly separates herself from him while bowing her head and said: "I'm so sorry, I don't want had happened to me just now. My body instinctively doing that action as I'm looking at your face."

"It's fine, Lawry-san, I don't mind it." Kanda said that casually.

"Captain Kuune, my job to escort Lawry here has completed. I will leave her in your care as we will return back to our place." The black-haired beauty said that as she looking at Kunne.

"Thank you for your service, Captain Anne. We will try our best to take care her as she stay with us here." Kuune said to Anne before escorting her back to her ship.

"Thank you so much, Captain Anne, for bringing me here." Lawry bowed her head as she said that.

"It's fine, Lawry, it's also my pleasure to bring you here as we also want to see planet Earth when we knew about its location." Replied Anne to her.

The transfer tunnel starts to disconnect from Kuune's ship before Anne's ship slowly moving away from here.

Later, Kanda and the others except for the catgirls as they have something to do in the maid ship before going back to the house. They bringing Lawry to their house on the planet where Claris and the maids had already prepared some beverages in the house.

They sitting on the couches in the living room where Lawry sitting in front of him while being surrounded by several Assistroids.

"So...Lawry-san, can you introduces yourself and your origin as I can see here that you have a mechanical body where your cat ears the same as the ears of Assistroids here. Oh! I will introduce myself again, I'm Ichijou Kanda or you can call me as Ichijou or Kanda, whatever you like." Asked Kanda to her while introducing himself.

"Nice to meet you, Ichijou-san, I'm Lawry." Lawry introduced herself while looking at the people in the room before continues: "Just like you might expect, I'm an Assistroid though I'm the first generation of Catia's Assistroids."

"Why do you mean as you called yourself as the first generation of Assistroids, Lawry-san?" Asked Aoi curiously.

"Before the current design of Assistroids had been finalized, Catia's Assistroids has humanoid features where they look like just a normal Catians except for their mechanical ears which could distinguish between Catia's people and Assistroids. However, due to our similar appearance with them, they stopped the production of my Assistroids' generation and the design of Assistroids had been revised multiple times until current design had been implemented for the production of the Assistroids." Explained Lawry to Aoi's inquiry.

"Why they had stopped your generation Assistroids' production? I don't think that it's because of your similar appearance like them." Antonia said that while wondering about the production of Assistroids the same as Lawry.

"Antonia-chan, you must remember that anyone could feel slightly insecure when there is someone that looking similar like them and that individual has superior capabilities compare to them." Kanda said that gently to Antonia while looking at her.

"Although that individual didn't harm any of the people there." Antonia said to him.

"Yes, Antonia-chan. People unconsciously feel inferior if there is someone had superior capabilities as they felt that the one that had been created by them shouldn't have become superior individual though that individual didn't mean any harm to them. Try asking Lawry-san here whether there are any Assistroids just like her or still survive until this day." Replied Kanda to Antonia before looking at Lawry.

"What had been explained by Ichijou-san was right as there are only 10 first generation Assistroids including me had been created where I'm the last one still working here before I also reaching my time limit soon. Although we have superior capabilities, we still listen to the order that had been implemented inside our core but we couldn't do anything if the higher-ups feels insecure with our creation. Fortunately, my late master defends our well-being by taking all of us under his care although he had been treated as an outcast at our planet." Explained Lawry where she had a smile on her face as she talking about her late master.

"What is your objective coming to this planet, Lawry-san?" Asked Manamj next.

"Well, I want to fulfill my late master wish which is his wish to see planet Earth where he had came from as he had left his family in that planet as he returned back to the Catia." Replied her to Manami.

"Eh? One of our people has a connection with alien civilisation before." Antonia surprised with the revelation.

"That's right though I don't know whether this planet was the place he came from or not." Lawry said that to Antonia.

"What do you mean by that, Lawry-san?" Antonia asked her again.

"What she means is there might be another planet just like our planet Earth. There are multiple universes outside our planet where we might still not fully explored yet although we had spent a very long time for the space adventure. Is that right, Lawry-san?" Answered Kanda instead of Lawry before he looking her.

"That's right, Ichijou-san. I knew about these things as my late master was a space explorer where his task to search any unexplored place which unknown to others as he also trying to find his way back to his home planet again until he had met unforeseen accident." Lawry supported his claim as she had sad expression when talking about her master.

"What had happened to your late master if you not mind with my question?" Aoi asked while being careful with her question.

"My late master had an accident during his hyper jump where our ship suddenly had malfunction during the jump when we escaping from the danger from one of the planet that had been explored by him. We stranded in the space for a long time where I could functioning normally due to my nature as an Assistroid but my late master couldn't survive during the accident. Before his last breath, he told me that he want to see the view of the sea where he had spend his time with his family there and hoping that I could fulfill his wish and finding his family if I ever finding planet Earth later. When I heard that planet Earth had been discovered, I feel that I finally could fulfill his wish. Therefore, here am I, in this planet." Lawry said all of that.

They stopped for a while to take a break where they taking some beverages that had been prepared where they also can see Lawry could eat just like a normal human.

Intriguing with what had been seen by him, he said: "Lawry-san...How could you eating like that as I'm remember that you're an Assistroid?"

"Well...When I'm eating or drink, those substances entering my mouth and going towards nothingness as in my stomach, there are many sensory receptors in my body to identify the taste that had been consumed by me where our creator want to find us eating with other people. However, due to our appearance, his wish as a creator couldn't be implemented as his people feel repulsive with our presence." Replied her to him.

"Ok...What is your next plan for your stay here?" Asked Kanda avoiding those depressing moment ago.

"I want to visit as many places as possible on this planet especially the sea where my late master want to see before he died." Replied Lawry.

"Alright, we will take you later but we will do that tomorrow as I think that you need to take a rest first as it's your first time you had came here. Therefore, I will let you experience how our people here going for an outing." Kanda said that her Lawry.

"En. That's good. I will follow your arrangement. Please take care of me here, Ichijou-san." Lawry bows her head slightly at him.

After that, they waiting for the dinner to be completed which they finally eating their dinner after waiting for an hour. They going to their own room where Lawry also receives a room to spend her night for today.
