Chapter 32

Manuel Bernal was in his morning Karate practice. The man was a black belt from the Okinawa School and had competed successfully in Central America, Mexico and the United States. He had given strict orders not to be disturbed so that he could concentrate so that when Bishop Iñaki entered the room he was in a bad mood, but what worried him most was the air of triumph that the priest could barely hide.

"You must watch the news on television." Said the Bishop without greeting before; then he closed the door and left.

Bernal turned on the television and looked for a news program that had just started.
