Chapter 45 (B)

I heard him sigh and then he kissed the top of my head, lingering his lips there and mumbling “Me too, baby.” He pulled back and pushed me gently away just enough to have a proper look at my face. He wiped off all the tears before leaning down to kiss me.

A smile pulled upon my lips before his lips crashed against mine and just like that everything faded. We got lost in our bubble like always and nothing around us mattered anymore. We were the only two in our little world where the nature always celebrated when we were together, birds sang and fireworks exploded in the sky. Butterflies danced in our stomachs to the melody that was inaudible to everyone but us. It was like a celebration of love and union of two lovers.
