He didn't reply. As if what I said was completely out of his principles. The moment we turned into the corridor, we encountered with three men.
"Oh thanks holy God. We met you. I was afraid you might be leaving." One of the men said, on seeing us.
"Indeed I am." Xavier said and moved aside to walk passed by them.
"But it's not that late. We can conduct our meeting." The same man spoke.
"It's past 4 minutes the meeting time." He replied.
"We know." The man said.
"And you know me too." He said, halting his walk.
"There was a problem on our way here. Our car was damaged." The man said. "We have to take a taxi to here and that took time." He then added.
"Good excuse." Xavier said. And then resumed his walk.
"You have to believe us. We were never late in our previous meetings." He said walking behind Xavier to stop him.
