Assault Part6: Smith Castle

Still the same night – Hours before – At Smith Castle.

The night at Smith's castle was very still and quiet. It seemed that everyone was fast asleep. Luke was getting used to the spooky-looking conditions of Smith's castle as night fell.

The sound is like whistling at night. No longer made him shudder at the thought of anything. At first, he thought, it might be true that the huge Smith Castle had a visible inhabitant.

But if he remembered how Zoe had laughed at him, of course, that wasn't true.

Zoe explains that many valuable items are hundreds of years old in the castle. The night breeze is certainly the cause of these sounds because many historical items have cracks and holes that are difficult to repair.

That night it seemed that only Luke was still awake. He had just finished gathering all the evidence pointing to Neville. His laptop screen still glows brightly in the darkness of his room.
