Chapter 78

The Original family started going to work, all do of them decided to stay in America.Even though they have strict policies regarding wands and breaking the International Statute of Secrecy.

Many of the laws have been lightened up ever since the involvement of Jacob Kowalski and Newt Scamander, when the war with Grindelwald was going on.

So Hailey too entered the world mainly because of werewolves in the Harry Potter world were miserable. So she too started to get involved in some of the projects with Kol, Freya and Davina.

Each of the Original family started earning recognition in their respective fields, like Freya focused on healing, Transfiguration and dark arts.

Davina was more into Charm and Defense against dark arts. She was also well known in the field, after all such young girl to have shown so much potential will bring Kol was regarded a master in the potions field, he was modifying a lot of existing potions to bring better results or bring lesser preparation time. Interestingly he would become Snape's idol.

Last, but not the least, Elijah was regarded as very well known figure in field of business and slightly in feared because of his identity in magical underworld, since there were attempts from assignations to threatening them to get their wealth and knowledge.

But none of it worked and those that did were not only killed ruthlessly, but were stripped of their entire wealth, but there was no proof it was the Mikaelsons.

But smart ones already guessed it's them and no one dared try the same again. For the next 4 years they worked their way up, now it was 1978. During this time, Hope and Alex travelled around different magical communities under different look and one thing Hope picked up was saving magical creature.

They had to create magically expanding enclosure(a modified version of prison world), just for this, and they had quite a few magical species there, which included Thunderbird, Griffins, Unicorns, Occamy, Nundu, Runespoor, Qilin, Demiguise and even a couple of dragons.

All most all came because of Alex'm darkfey/Phoenix heritage and nature aura. Otherwise, one would have spent a lot of time with them to gain their trust. Also, Hope wanted to save them and provide them somewhere to live. Now they had a whole world to run around in without being hunted down by anyone.

The Mikaelson families entrance did cause some interest among the community. Since the memory and reality warping created a background where Freya, Elijah,Kol and Davina all went to Ilvermorny School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and everyone of them kept to themselves. One thing that had remained the same, though, was the room they entered—the library. As high as the walls rose, so it seemed did the rows of books that encircled a winding staircase in the middle of the large chamber.

They lined what felt like every inch of the curving stone wall: shelf after shelf, tome upon tome, boxes innumerable filled with scrolls, every last one of them, had rare and precious and most likely unique tomes.

There were so many of them that ladders had been erected connecting to a reading terrace above them—which was also filled with books. And, as if books in shelves or on a terrace were not sufficiently excessive, there were huge stacks of books scattered about the floor. The knowledge that lay within them could never be absorbed by a single person in his or her lifetime.

At least, no ordinary single person. More striking than the almost obscene glut of priceless knowledge, though, were the veins of magic that provided light to read them by. They flowed upward and along the shelves, bright, glowing white rivulets that seemed to burst into bloom across the ceiling high above their heads.

All do them from time to time, spent their time either discussing different projects here or in their labs. Now they were discussing the Werewolf project, which was creating a modified moonlight ring for the werewolves here or Kol creation, which was a potion that kept the wolf fully at bay, but the downside was, you will be out for half a day.

Both are good ideas, and this project was something Haley wanted to do here. The second project was the pushing for the creation of magical rings into the Harry Potter world.

Just then, Elijah came in, which causing everyone to turn their attention to him. As Elijah smiled and said"All our business are completed, I bought Universal Brooms Ltd."

Which was a broomstick manufacturing company. They released the Shooting Star in 1955, but their products lost popularity over time. Afterwards they incurred heavy losses. Eventually, the company went lower and lower on their charts.

Alex replied"That is good news."

Kol then questioned"What about the werewolf potions?"

Elijah smiled and answered"It also has got a green light, but they want to see the potion first hand."

Haley smiled and said"That is good."

Elijah nodded, but then with serious tone added"But I met Lucius Malfoy."

This got everyone's attention, while Freya questioned"What did he want?"

Elijah shook his head and answered"He seems to be fishing for our position on whether we support the pure blood movement or not."

Davina frowned and said"But that doesn't make sense, we are all the way here in America and why do they have interest in us."

Alex answered"Because Mikaelson family has been creating waves in the international magical community, I am sure Voldy is intended to move up his plans and is trying to recruit us. After this is method is recruiting members from rich and influential families. I mean, his intention it to conquer the world and not just Britain."

Everyone nodded hearing this, while Kol frowned and muttered"If I could only just massacre them now." Some of them agreed with Kol, but they were not here for that.Also, Hope changed the topic and said to Alex"Let's go to the enclosure.I want to check on Opal."

Alex nodded, Opal was an Antipodean Opaleye dragon, It was generally considered one of the most beautiful dragons, with pearly scales that lined its body, and glittering multicolored eyes that had no pupils. The Opaleye's eggs were pale gray and had been known to be mistaken by Muggles for fossils, and its flame was vivid red. The Opaleye was not particularly aggressive, rarely killing unless it was hungry. Its prey of choice was sheep, but it had been known to attack larger animals.

Alex and Hope found this one in Australia, where this male Opaleye that had been ousted from its territory by a dominant female. They were brought both of them here, which was easy with Alex around. This breed of dragon was a loyal creature and the least dangerous and deadly dragon of all.

Alex nodded and said"I have checked on the rest of them too."

Kol, Davina and Freya all got saying in unison"We are coming too."

They all loved those creatures, who wouldn't want to pet them and be close to them, since all of them are calm and easy to get along with. Which was all made possible by Alex and Hope together.
