A year ago Alex was spending time with Kol, while Hope was having family time with Hailey and Klaus.

Kol was playing video games with Alex, when the latter said"Have you thought about ever having your magic back,I mean being witch again."

Kol paused immediately this was a tough subject for him and normally he won't speak to anyone about it.Not even his family, since they will never understand his pain or suffering.

Kol only spoke about this to Davina and with time Alex,it was mainly during a mind-healing session. Which was to help him move past all issues from his past.

Flashback

Kol during his mind healing session in anger spoke about the betrayal,he felt when his family brought an outsider like Marcel and treated him better than treated him.

Kol went on how he saw his siblings didn't give a fuck about his death at the hands of the Scooby gang.It only got worse with them stopping Davina from resurrecting him.

Kol with anger said"Do you know when I became a fucking vampier,I lost a part of me just like Nik.But no one cared and everyone was going on about how they will help him break the curse.While completely ignoring how Finn and I had lost during the change."

Alex nodded,while Kol slumped on the couch and added"I was the black sheep of the family,after losing my magic.I started hanging out with witches to at least remind me of the feeling."

Alex felt bad for Kol and replied"Maybe we can work up something."

Kol just took it as Alex comforting him at that time.

Flashback ended

Kol with a slightly wavering tone answered"Yes, I want to do magic again.But it is impossible to get it back without getting fucked by Nature herself.Also,I will probably lose my immortality for that."

Alex grinned and asked"What if there is a loophole that we can use?"

Kol now having hope and leaned forward with curiosity, while Alex continued"I can turn you into an original Heretic."

Kol was excited questioned, "You can do that?"

Alex deadpaned and asked"Did you forget how I changed Henry from being a hybrid to a werewolf again?"

Kol nodded and replied"Sorry, it slipped my mind.You can't blame me, it was pretty hectic with Haley getting kidnapped and stuff."

Alex nodded and they went to the basement, just for safety reasons.The whole thing worked out pretty well.
