I turn over in my bed, stretch my hand to the other side and reach for Bella, but then I realize that she’s gone. I pushed her away. This is just another of the many mornings where I wake up wanting to hold her. I remember all of the times I’d wake up to find her next to me. She’d give me a sleepy smile and whisper good morning against my lips. Sometimes we’d have morning sex and lay wrapped around each other contentedly afterward.
