Believe Me

Lilian Mo glanced at Mu Qingqing, unsure what to say. She was really beginning to feel confused.

"Little girl, who is Zhou Yang?"

Mu Qingqing blinked her eyes dumbly at Lilian Mo's question. Why did her Momo suddenly forgot about people?

"Zhou Yang, isn't he the vice president of our class? He also follows you around to compete with you. He was also the person who announced to the whole school that he likes you after he hijacked the broadcasting room!"

Lilian Mo gaped. This kind of character... how come she does not remember him? But instead...

"That person's name should be Zoe Yang, not Zhou Yang."

Mu Qingqing giggled and slapped her arm playfully. "Momo, I know that you don't like Zhou Yang because you find him annoying but you can't just create this embarrassing nickname for him. People might think that the manly vice president is gay!"

But it's not a nickname... Lilian Mo shifted with discomfort.

Not only did she gained an instant uncle but Zoe Yang from her previous life changed her name and gender? Perhaps, something was wrong with Lilian Mo's memory?

She felt utterly confused. The Zoe Yang in her memory was an only child and moreover, she hates Lilian Mo so much that she would always compete with her every academic test as well as sports matches.

"You are really Zo... I mean Zhou Yang's brother?" Lilian Mo asked.

Nathan Yang sighed. "I can see you that you still don't believe me. I have a picture here with my twin and brother." He took out a photo from his inside his clothes and flicked it her way.

Lilian Mo caught it between her fingers and flipped it upwards.

She saw Nathan Yang and a woman as tall as him who shared his features but in a feminine way. They were both wearing army uniforms and standing side by side with each other. Infront of them was someone who was only a few inches shorter and was wearing the school uniform of the school in which Lilian Mo was attending.

It was Zoe Yang...

Or atleast it looked like someone who resembled Zoe Yang but the boy in the photo was obviously male no matter what angle she looks at it. His hair was short and his eyes were fierce and wild.

He looked handsome and youthful. He seemed the type who would earn himself a lot of admirers.

"Pfft. The class vice president looks smaller in this picture but it's really him, Momo!" Mu Qingqing said excitedly, relieved to see a familiar face.

On the other hand, Lilian Mo's head was filled with questions. Who is this person who looks like Zoe Yang? This was indeed their class president but the fact that his name and gender changed was a real mystery to her.

Furthermore, Lilian Mo still has negative feelings after finding out about the existence of an instant uncle who is presumably someone that is not close to her.

That seemed acceptable because she really did not remember ever having an uncle with the name of Mo Yize. Was this some kind of trick? Did this Nathan Yang use an ability to trick Mu Qingqing? But Lilian Mo has no knowledge of an ability that can alter memories.

If it is an illusionist then that was possible with sufficient mental power but the illusion will only last for a few seconds or so. This just means that this person must be telling the truth... He also very spoke truthfully.

"Now, are you willing to believe me?" Nathan Yang said, placing a hand on his waist, looking very intimidating.

Lilian Mo was still feeling reluctant but at this moment, she could not find any evidence to refute the information that was being pushed towards her. She could find out more about this if she meets these people in person.

If you want, I can tell the others to help look for him but our manpower is reserved for dismantling the solar generator. The night is a perfect time to move quietly. During the day, it's hot as hell which makes people feel sluggish."

Lilian Mo finally decided to approach him. She threw the photo back to him and he accepted it back, looking at the picture with a slight smile on his face before tucking it back into his clothes. His face became stoic once more.

It would seem that he has a soft spot for his siblings.

"We can go find my twin. You're lucky that it's me who stumbled upon you. If it were Nathalie, the two of you would have fought first. She's a war freak and seeing how you seem to be trained well, she might be interested in a spar."

Lilian Mo didn't respond to that. She gestured for Lin Jiaojiao and Zhang Youji to approach.

Nathan Yang looked at them, familiarizing himself with their faces.

He didn't ask for their names or identity but he was interested in the girl's ability.

"The thing from earlier, is it some kind of barrier?"
