He only heard the woman speaking her Spell's Arcane words, and even if Shingi couldn't see the battle, with his experience, he could envision it just from the sound. He could tell that the woman was not going full power, as there were some unusual breaks on her spell castings, probably so that she wouldn't hurt Annoue. Shingi couldn't be 100% certain how much Annoue had improved, but if she could now use the Spirit Element, it could provide a massive advantage for the future.
