~~***~~

Victoria Sinclair. Known as the most elegant woman in the Nerivilya academy. Every word she speaks inspires people and gives them knowledge. Everytime she moved, people saw the elegance.

People call her a royalty, a princess and the perfect woman.

Everytime she smiles, she's sure to take a man's heart in no time. But she doesn't brag about that. That's why both women and men are incredibly interested in her.

But no one knows the chains that are binded in every part of her.

...

Victoria lives in a custom room prepared by his father. She starts of the day by being woken by her maid, Fern. "Milady, it's time to wake up."

Victoria was greeted by Fern's smiling face and the godrays of the sun beaming through her window. She woke up tired. "Goodmorning Fern."

"Goodmorning milady. Here's your food for the morning." Fern then brough the mini table to her bed and above her lap. A milk, and two pieces of bread grilled to perfection. The chocolate inside as she picked it up were dripping on the plate.

Fern never left her side as she ate her food gracefully in front of her. "Thank you Fern." She finished in just a few minutes.

Fern picked up the table from her and set it aside. "For today your schedule will be the default since today is Saturday. At 7:00 AM, you'll do your daily exercises set by your father. At 9:00 AM, your piano lessons will start with the professor. At 2:00 PM, your fencing class. At 4:00 PM you'll have your royal etiquette class and at 7:00 PM you'll have a dinner with your father."

"I see." A frown was seen in her face but she quickly turned it into a smile. "There's still an hour left before it turns 7:00 AM. Give me some time to get ready."

"I'll do just that. I'll return at 6:50 AM. I'll be taking my leave now milady."

She took a look outside the window. There she could see the world that's outside. The trees, the mountains, the lakes, the plants, animals, people... In that window, all she wished for was within that mirror. Victoria let out an exasperated sigh. If one of her teachers heard that, she'd surely be scolded for acting so 'unbecoming of a woman,' as her professors call it.

"Why was I born this way?" Everytime she woke up, that question rises in her head. But after all these years, she's still desperately looking for an answer.

She shook her head and got ready for the first even of her day. She wore her tracksuit and went on her way out. She jogged on a saturday morning outside. Even though no one tells her, there are multiple bodyguards that are following her. Even she knows how bad they hide.

For her, this is the happiest thing she could do in the scripted days his father gives her. With this, she could enjoy the scenery, the wideness of the world and especially... the people.

Everytime she looked around and see new people, may they be rich or poor, one thing always come up her mind. "I'm jealous."

If other people heard this, they would've called her ignorant or other things. But her reason being, "I'm jealous because I can't go out freely. I'm jealous because I can't go eat with my friends. I'm jealous because I can't go to karaoke with my friends. I'm jealous because I want to enjoy life wherever it may take me. Yet I was born programmed like a robot. Everyday is scripted, every single day of my life leading up to one moment. To be used as a pawn in politics."

She finally reached the edge of where she's allowed to go. "An hour of freedom." She couldn't say these things to anyone. Not even put it in a diary.

She took a deep breath and again, if any professor of hers saw this, she'd be instantly scolded. Too unladylike. She looked back and began to run back at the Nerivilya academy.

She took some rest and began to get ready on her 9:00 PM schedule.

Her professor came into her room holding a binder full of musical pieces. The both of them greeted each other with a goodmorning and Victoria hurriedly went and sat on the chair and played whatever her professor put on there.

"Everytime I touched this piano and play a little tune, it brought me happiness. 'How can such simple tunes create this much beauty and elegance?' But all I have now are just pain. As I inflict it onto the music that I produce and to myself. It has more become of a chore rather than something I enjoy."

Time went on and she went to the remaining classes, fencing and royal etiquette. Night finally came and her dinner with her father came.

They saw down on their seats. The table was incredibly long in length and a normal size for the width of the table. They sat across each other on the single chairs at the end of each end of the table.

Luxurious and well dressed maids came in bringing in the food they were about to eat.

Victoria put a cloth on her lap and his father put the cloth on his chest to avoid food dropping onto their clothes.

They ate silently as the night passes by. And after thirty minutes, the father decided to speak. "Have you done your daily activities?"

Victoria put down the utensils and wiped her mouth then answered, "Yes."

"Good." His father then left the room.

"That's it? That's all you're going to say to me?" Her inner thoughts was something she'd been willing to tell him all this time. But she hasn't gathered enough courage to do it. "I'm your daughter... how could you make me all do this!? You invite me in a dinner every single day yet you ask one thing and leave... Am I even a human being in your eyes!?"

A single tear came out of her eye and every maid and butler at the scene rushed at her. "Are you okay milady?" One of them asked.

"Yes. I'm fine." She then wiped the tear off her face. "I'm sorry, must've been the onions in the food."

"I apologize milady! I'll talk with the chef about that."

"No, no, there's no need. No one is at fault here." She stood up and the maids and butler around her made a path for her. "Thank you. I'll be going now."

She went back to her room, threw her sandals and tie on her hair and jumped on the bed.

"Someone... someone please... save me from this jail."
