Wasteful

As Pete freshened up, he couldn't help thinking about what to tell Ella and Ken as his excuse for going clubbing with his caretaker.

He wasn't sure he wanted either of them to know about his feelings for Kathleen yet. He didn't want interference from anyone until he and Kathleen were fully on board with each other. 

He was surprised to see Ken in the living room when he stepped out of his bedroom a moment later.

"When did you come in? I was just going to call you," he said, approaching Ken's seat.

"Really? Wetin sup?" Ken asked as he stood up to shake hands with Pete. 

"Where is Amanda?" He asked Chidi when he noticed Amanda was no longer there dancing. 

"She took Isioma to her bedroom to show her something," Kathleen's mother answered, since Chidi's eyes were fixed on the television where he was watching the replay of a football match he had missed the previous day.
