"I don't know why I called you guys when I have other friends," I sighed and sank deeper into my couch. "I shouldn't have said anything in the first place."
"First of all, you barely have any other friends. You told us that yourself." Meredith placed the three containers of ice cream on the coffee table along with three spoons. "And second of all, you'd be dumb to call anyone else to talk about your relationship issues."
Jake also brought in three beers from the kitchen, caps removed. He gave the first one to Mere before occupying the opposite couch and passing the other one to me. I took the bottle, gladly chugging as he asked, "Did I hear you right when you mentioned that Caleb said he wanted to be your boyfriend?"
"Yes, you heard correct."
