Alchemy - Part 1

"Just wait for me you bastards... I will pay you all back ten times.", he was referring to all those people who had belittled him and tormented him in his past life.

After saying this he resumed his cultivation since he had to first reach the Bronze rank of Lower Martial realm only after which he could start cultivating the [Heavenly Attributes] cultivation which were related to the six legenadary cores.

Regardless of those things, he continued to cultivate in order to increase his power as soon as possible.

He had to gain a lot of powe before he could actually use alchemy in order to form pills that could save his mother's life.

That's why his concentration was at the peak and he didn't even slack or rest for a whole one day.

He didn't even more from that place nor did any beast pass by. He was indeed lucky cause the natural Qi was readily getting used up by his body.

All the impurities of his body were slowly being removed from his breathings and also seeking out of the body.

After exactly 25 hours, he opened his eyes. He then tried to feel the flow of the Qi once again within his meridians and found everything normal except the other 6 mysterious energies from the cores that were literally binding his own Qi as if they were protecting it.

They were like the shields which covered the Qi entirely. He didn't pry much about it since his knowledge was also very little regarding the cores.

"Ewww, my body!", due to releasing of a large amount of impurities his body was giving a bad odour.

He immediately rushed towards the nearby river in order to clean himself.

"Wow... I feel like I'm flying.", his cultivation had increased even more and he was slowly regaining the original body of his.

But he still had a very long way to go since he was just at the starting point.

"The water is so cool... it feels good.", after washing himself he thought about eating something and saw many berries on the trees.

He plucked some of them and started eating them when suddenly a thought came to his mind.

"The Yellow core is absorbing yellow beast souls... then does that mean only one part of my body is being strengthened?"

He was doubtful about the cores. While he was cultivating he felt that the fires had specifically been fused at certain particular places in his body.

He even felt that the mammoth's power was absorbed and stored by the Yellow core which was situated in his left leg. When he finished his cultivation and decided to move towards the river, his left leg felt especially light and powerful.

Based on these things he concluded that the cores strengthened the part of the body where they were located.

"Hmm, this is intriguing.", he was also awed because his cultivation speed was 6 times more when compared to his previous life.

He knew that this was due to the cores and that's why he was thankful to them but he wanted to use them even more efficiently!

"Well, maybe I should resume my search of the Dark Frost!", saying this he left towards another cave since the previous cave's surroundings didn't have any herb and inside it were only poisonous herbs.

"If I'm not wrong, the next cave should around..."

'BAM'

He was hit by something very hard which made him fly and fall on the ground 20 metres away.

The hit was so powerful that his internals has been damaged even after strengthening them for so long due to which he was coughing blood.

*cough cough*

"What the fuck happened!?", he raised his head only to find a huge green snake in front of him.

"Holy shit! A Garnet Snake!!?", it seemed as if he was shocked when he looked at the snake beast.

The snake beast appeared to be furious for some reason due to which it slashed it tail with all its might.

But Ryuu wasn't able to understand about the snake that usually used to hibernate during these times was freely roaming on the surface which stunned him for a second.

But then when he saw at it again, it seemed as if the snake didn't intend to attack Ryuu. There was somemore sound being heard as if someone was fighting and during that fight, the snakes attack hit Ryuu.

*cough cough*

Ryuu was still coughing blood so he thought that it would be best to find a good place to heal his injuries and thus he immediately climbed up a tree.

"What the heck is... going on?", he could barely see anything. It seemed as if a fight started just now between two beasts.

They were really strong and according to Ryuu's estimation, they should have been around 2 star High Martial realm.

"Damn... my Qi is unstable.", he immediately started to control his own Qi which was deviating from its path.

Fortunately he was able to control it before anything wrong had happened.

"Now let's treat the injuries first...", he started to concentrate towards his injured stomach and tissues that had been torn a bit.

His soul power was more than enough to repair them but it was taking an awful amount of time because the injuries were a hit deep.

Somehow he managed to recover completely after an hour and then finally stood up to take a look at the surrounding.

"The sound has stopped?", it seemed as if the battle was long over and now everything was calm.

He peeked a bit while hiding behind the tree only to find the snake and a massive tiger. It seemed as if they were dead after fighting for a while.

"Unbelievable... 2 strong beasts are just lying in front of me as if they are inviting me to come and take their cores away from them!"

He couldn't have been anymore luckier than he was now. His eyes were sparkling because he wanted to get the cores as soon as possible.

He immediately disappeared from his original spot and appeared in front of the snake beast and touched its scales.

He took a look at the wounds and then slowly put his own Qi inside it which started to flow inside the snakes body.

Ryuu guides the Qi towards the core of the snake beast after reaching which the Qi surrounded it completely.

Then Ryuu immedaoeyky controlled the core and pulled it out of the snake in an instant!

This way of removing the cores was something which only high level masters could do. Also, it was thanks to his cultivation that increased his power due to which he could perform this without any relapse.

The core was floating in the air which slowly landed in his right palm. The core was glowing in green colour. It seemed to be 2 star High Martial Rank!

"Let me save this for later.", immediately after saying this he put the core inside the pouch and then head towards the tiger which had fallen dead.

"Phew, after using this technique once, my energy has been lowered by 30%. It will be quite the burden now.", after saying this he put some more of his Qi inside the tiger beast which was completely white.

He extracted the core the same way as he did for the snake but surprisingly the core was one star higher than that of the snake's.

"Awesome! This is 3 star High Martial Rank!!!!", his excitement knew no bounds since he was extremely joyed. He immediately put the core in another small pouch and walked away towards the cave that was ahead since his main goal was to collect the DARK FROST!

He then started walking inside the cave after finding it. It was completely dark inside but thanks to the core he collected earlier, he was able to see ahead due to the Yellow radiance glowing from it.

"Hmm... that herb might be here. Even though it's not the right season, because of the coolness of this place it might have grown here."

After saying that he went deep inside the cave only to find a dead end.

"What the heck? There was absolutely nothing in the cave?", he was shocked because a completely empty cave couldn't be found anywhere.

"Hmm... there is something here that is hidden.", he checked the wall that was ahewas of him and placed his head near it while his ear was touching it.

It seemed as if he was trying to hear something from the other side.

"...", he was in the same posture for 1-2 minutes and then he immediately withdrew himself and moved a few steps back.

"The power of the Bull!!!!", he shouted this and immediately punched the wall with his right hand which shattered into pieces right after it.

"Haha, I knew it. There was definitely a passage ahead of it.", it seemed as if someone had purposefully placed a boulder at that place in order to prevent someone from entering. But unfortunately that person couldn't stop Ryuu.

"Ah! This feeling...", suddenly he felt a refreshing feeling which covered him entirely. It was as if he was floating in the sky or was touching the soft clouds or cotton candy.

Suddenly a black light shunned out of nowhere which covered Ryuu and disappeared immediately.

"Huh? What was I doing?", Ryuu was confused. He thought that he was in heaven or something but when he opened his eyes he was in the same place as earlier.

He looked here and there only to find many Dark Frost Herbs growing at the place which were shinning with blue-white light.

"Damn, how could I forget that the Dark Frost herb has hallucinogenic properties!?", it seemed as if the herb used to make people hallucinate if taken in large quantities. Even their smell was enough to cause such hallucinations!

"Maybe the cores helped me and protected me from the illusions. Sigh, but it's good that I found the herbs. Now I can finally start doing Alchemy!"
