Buying Bricks

Li Zheng frowned. "If you have anything to say, just say it. Why did you bring the wine? Isn't it expensive?"

"My father made these before. No one drinks them now, so I brought them for you. Don't mind them."

"Why would I mind?"

Li Zheng smiled. "I'll get your aunt to return the pot to you later."

Lu Sheng nodded and explained her purpose for coming.

"I want to buy some bricks, but I don't know where to get them. Uncle, can you lead the way?"

In the entire Liu Yue Village, there were only a few families who could afford to stay in a brick house. One of them was Li Zheng's family.

She was not familiar with the other families. After some thought, she felt that the village head was the most reliable.

"Buy bricks?" Li Zheng did not understand. "Why do you want to buy bricks?"
