Middle Of The Night

Night is coming.

Hong slept with his face and body covered in sweat because the poison had started to work, making his body weak and his vision blurry. He opened his eyes, saw his brother sleeping next to him, he looked very tired, holding his hand tightly, afraid of losing him.

Hong withdrew his hand slowly, careful not to wake his brother. He looked out, the big moon was hanging high above the dark sky. The moon is reddish, just like what Po Hai said.

"Fifteenth night of the ninth month, don't be late or I will level the entire Jie valley with my black hole."

Hong widened his eyes, this was the night, he had been asleep for two days and time passed quickly. Hong pushed aside the blanket, carefully removing his leg which had been really sore for the past few days.

"Ah," he covered his mouth with his hand, almost making a sound that would wake up his brother.

Hong covered his mouth as he got out of bed, very carefully.
