Chapter 29

Vladimir left the next day. He wanted to return home to take a break and start government work. When leaving he didn't tell the queen he is leaving and he has everyone rush back. A little over a week and a half before he makes it back.

He took three days off before letting all ministers know there will be a meeting on the fourth day in the Tauride Palace. On the fourth day, many ministers started to enter the Tauride Palace. The six white pillars against the yellow walls and green roofs just give the outside a simple but nice look.

The interior looks more luxurious. The ministers walk through the ceilings and clean and bright floors. The high chandeliers. The ministers started to enter the boardroom. They make their way to their seats while talking.

"Why did the Tsar call a meeting?"

"I don't know "

"He came back from his little trips and now wants to meet,"

"Since he took the throne, he has only had small meetings."

"Now he wants to meet all of us,"

The ministers walk down the isles, filling the lower seats at the front. They continued talking until Vladimir enters behind the main seat. He sits on the main seat then looks at the other two empty lower ones next to him on the right and left.

Seeing the Tsar sitting down, the ministers stop talking and stood up and say in Unison.

"Long Live the Tsar!"

Vladimir nods at them and gestures for them to sit down. He looks at them, middle-aged to elderly. Seeing them sit down, he starts it off by saying.

"Everyone I enjoy this country as much as you do, but it's time the country changes. I want to expand Russia and make the Russian Empire. Imperial Russia," He says out loud while still looking at them."

They whispered amongst themselves. Seeing that he wasn't finished, they quiet once again.

"these years I can see that you are happy how things are but I am not. I have ambitions. I want a strong Empire. I want to rule land, sea, and air,"

Some looked at him with shock and one asked, "the air your majesty? as in the sky?"

Vladimir nods "yes the sky"

"is it possible Tsar Vladimir" An older minster with grey hair asks? Vladimir had to look at this old guy properly. These types of guys tend to have thoughts and doubts.

Vladimir stands and leans against the wooden barrier in front of him that reaches his chin the "If I say its possible then it is possible." he looks around at them "as long I am Tsar then you can believe in me and for those that can't or won't then let me remind you that your job is temporary," He sits back down

"I am open to suggestions and even rebuttals as long as you have a sound argument and reason then it is fine, but if it is for personal gain then?" he doesn't finish. There is no need to. These are adults and should know what he means.

"One last thing. I don't want to be a tyrant, but that doesn't mean I am not willing,"

He scans them with his eyes one more time "I have gotten my point across and now we can officially start."

"First, I want to set up a ministry of propaganda and it will be in charge of highlighting the best parts of Russian culture. I will also like the spread of patriotism. I want the Russian people to always and be ready to defend the lands of Russia. I want to spread nationalism. I want them to be proud of being Russian wherever they go. I want when we need soldier I want them to rush to be recruited whether it is for the army or navy."

He pauses to take a breather "I will also change the military system to compulsory service. Each male will be required to serve in the military for six months. Ages ranging from 18 to 32. As long they complete their six months, they will be given a choice to stay in the army or leave."

The minister's nod and some are taking notes

"your majesty when will the military service one start."

"that will start next year and I'll go over it with the military tomorrow. I won't mix military and politics. Some of you will be there such as the minister of defense "

"Anything else we should go over, gentlemen?" once he asked many hands up.

Vladimir spent many hours clarifying and talking about many things with them.
