"Ahh, sorry." Yuki said as he quickly helped the other party to his feet.
"No, it's also my fault." The boy said as he dusted himself off.
It was only then that got a proper look at the boy's face. The first thing he noticed was the boy's dirty blonde hair. It was glaringly out of place.
The second was his face. Although the boy said that everything was fine, he had quite the frown on his face.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Yuki asked once more.
"Mhmm?" The boy happened to show one of the angriest faces Yuki had seen since he had transmigrated. It kind of reminded him of his father.
Perhaps because the boy noticed Yuki's reaction, he quickly tried to explain himself, " Ahh, this is how my face usually is. I don't mean anything by it. Please don't mind me."
Yuki was slightly confused by this, "You mean to tell me that you have a resting b*tch face?" (A\N: Any thoughts on profanity?)
The boy was a bit taken aback by the way Yuki put it. Although he knew it was true, he didn't want to acknowledge it in such a way.
Yuki laughed after he noticed the helpless expression on the boy's face. "You seem like a nice guy. My name Takahashi Yuki. Nice to meet you." Yuki said as put out his hand.
The boy appeared to be shocked when he heard this. A small smile appeared on his face as he grasped Yuki's hand, "Hasegawa Kodaka."
The two boys had no idea that such a 'wholesome' scene would cause a sensation in the school in the following days to come...
"Anyways, it was nice meeting you Hasegawa-san." Yuki said as he loosened his grip. There was still one more lesson left for the day.
"Oh. See you later." Kodaka responded. "Actually, would you like to join a club?" He quickly said.
"Club?" Yuki hadn't heard of any clubs at all.
"Yeah, it's a club I started with a 'friend'. Would you be willing to check it out?" Kodaka asked
"Sure." Yuki responded. He was interested in the club and decided to check out a few others after school.
"Great, the club meets at the old church building." Kodaka said as he walked off.
Yuki smiled as he headed to the last class of the day, History. (A/N: I think)
Once again ignoring the gazes of his classmates, Yuki quickly got to his seat where he proceeded to fall asleep.
The class immediately started gossiping again.
"Is it true?" A girl asked.
"Of course, I saw it with my own eyes!" A boy said with his fingers in a scout's honor salute.
"Unbelievable..."
The day ended with all sorts of rumors about Yuki spreading.
Yuki was woken up by the school bell signaling the end of the day.
He looked up to see Shu approaching his desk.
"Yo, wanna walk home with us?"
"Sure." Yuki said as he groggily answered. He started packing up his things when he realized that everyone was quietly looking at him.
"What's up?" he asked.
"Nothing, let's go."
As everyone headed to their lockers, Yuki noticed that Raku wasn't with them.
"Where's Raku?" he asked.
"He's looking for a locket. He lost it yesterday on one of the fields." Shu said.
"Oh." Yuki didn't know how to continue, so he just dropped the conversation. It wasn't like he wanted to spend his afternoons looking for it.
Shu brought up a new topic to rid the awkwardness in the air. They separated at the school gate.
Yuki got home and jumped in the shower almost immediately. He changed back into casual where and decided to eat out today.
Yuki eventually reached his destination, Wagnaria.
Walking in, Yuki could tell that the cafe was popular since most of the tables were taken up. He found a place to sit down and waited for the waiter (Or is he the waiter)
After a short while, a waitress approached his table, "What can I get for you?"
Yuki was surprised by the height of the waitress. She was so short that she seemed like a middle schooler.
Yuki didn't comment though, he just wanted to get something to eat.
"Can I get the menu? I've never been here before." Yuki said.
"Oh yes, I forgot it."
Before Yuki could get another word in, the waiteress ran off to get his menu.
"Here you go." She said as she handed him the menu. "Would you like anything in the meantime?" she asked.
"Can I get a cup of mugicha?" Yuki asked.
"Coming right up." the waitress said as she left.
Yuki went through the menu and noticed they had a gratin. It had been a while since had the dish and decided to order it.
