Red also told them on how to hide the aura but it would take some time to master and Axel was not in a hurry. 

He finally looked at the notifications. He was expecting the reward and he hoped the reward would be 'King overgrowth' just like 'Elemental overgrowth' but such was not the case.

Axel clicked on the talent and it said,

This was a handy ability. In the future, the domain would be very important for every Pokemon and if this talent would help his Pokemons in creating and modifying the domain, then it was good news.

Axel was now ready to go. He had a lot of things to do and train his Pokemon.

"Charizard, are you ready to come with me?", asked Axel.

"So, you still want to be here for something?", asked Axel.

"Ok, train here till the league battle starts. Be at the top position of king rank. I know you can do it.", said Axel after patting his back. 

Both of them said their goodbyes and Axel teleported with Red.

Axel had an inkling that Charizard would want to stay here. It was a very competitive Pokemon and it would not stay still until it became the most powerful Pokemon in that Valley. So, when it reached King rank, Axel was confident that it might still want to challenge other king-rank Pokemons.

Axel returned to his home with Red. Axel could feel that Nidoking wanted to get out of the ball so Axel released it.

Finally, Nidoking had reached the rank-up stage and Axel had put up a condition for it. 

Axel wanted Nidoking to have a good ground type mastery before he could think of adding ground type to its domain. He also wanted to have a new move related to ground type.

Sand storm (Level 40): It is much faster and more fierce. 

  (Level 45): The enemy could not properly see in the sandstorm.

Sand Hardening: It is now in semi-solid form.

It had mainly concentrated on ground-type moves and its pre-domain during this time. Nidoking had grown very well now. Most of its weaknesses were now turned into its strength and it had now become a powerful Pokemon. 

It had done a lot of training on ground type moves and now it was ready to learn a new move relating to ground type. 

Axel focused on erosion for Nidoking. Sand and ground type could erode anything but normally it was done slowly. If ground-type properties were to be used perfectly, Nidoking had the power to erode anything. Nidoking was not at that level right now but it could start. 

"Megalania, now I think we should concentrate on your new ground-type move. It should be related to erosion...."

Axel started to explain the new concept of the move to Nidoking. It was challenging but it could be done with enough training. 

Axel had still not been able to store the psychic energy. He was still training on it and he felt that he was close now.

After 1 month,

Congratulations, the host is now able to store psychic energy. A new stat has been added to your status page.

  "FINALLLYYYY!!!!!", shouted Axel.

He was now finally able to manipulate aura, create psychic energy, and finally store it. It took him more than a month to do it and it was very tiring. 

"Good job Axel. You did it very fast. I am proud of you. Now, store the psychic energy in the ratio of 30:70 as I have told you before, and then we will start to train in other techniques.", said Red.

Pidgeot was now going to complete its body stats requirement very soon. It was also training on its new move 'Air aura' and it was close to leveling it to 40.

A white and blue light enveloped it and it started to glow. Axel threw a flying-type gem towards Pidgeot. It was a type-enhancing item and it would further boost Pidgeot after the rank up.

The process hardly took 5 minutes and now….

Pidgeot was drunk on the new power. It started to fly around at full speed. The air was raging here and there from its flying maneuvers. 

After flying for a few minutes, it finally came towards Axel. Axel patted its head and it closed its eyes feeling blissful. 

It was every Pokemon's dream to at least reach elemental rank and Pidgeot had finally done it. It still had a long way to go but it had completed its first milestone. 

"Take rest for today and then concentrate on your new move. Level it up to 40. Then we will think about something else.", said Axel to Pidgeot. 

Pidgeot was a very emotional Pokemon. It would be very happy if something good happens and very sad if something bad happens. So, Axel had to spend some time with Pidgeot to celebrate its rank up. 

They also had a small house party to celebrate the rank-up. Everyone was there including his family members.

For the entire month, it had only trained on 'Air aura' and it had been finally able to level it up to 39. It just needed a small push to make the move invisible. 

Venusaur was also very close to ranking up. It would be a powerful Pokemon after it reaches pseudo-king rank. It had fulfilled most of its requirements. Only 'Field control' was left to level up to 50.

Absol and Tauros were still very far from ranking up but they were doing their best. Other pseudo-king rank Pokemons were also trying their best but they had not even obtained their rank-up condition. It was very hard to rank up to king rank.

Gyarados was also very close in ranking up. It had received the rank-up condition 2 weeks before. It had fulfilled all of the rank-up conditions except for 'Water manipulation' which was set to be level 40.

Venusaur's 'Field control' has leveled up to 50. The range of 'Field control' has been increased to 20 meters and the move has become faster.

Venusaur has fulfilled all the conditions for rank-up.

A green and purple light enveloped Venusaur. It was now going to rank up to pseudo-king rank. The area became a bit more vibrant around it and it actually grew a little.

It had finally ranked up to pseudo-king rank. Venusaur was not a wild Pokemon so even though the run of rank up was making its mentality unstable, it had still not gone out on a rampage. 

Axel gave it some time to cool down and after a few minutes, it was practically jumping towards Axel to say that it had done a good job. 

Axel also patted its head and hugged it tightly. Bulbasaur was a baby when Axel caught it and now it had become a pseudo-king rank Pokemon. It was very surreal to even think about it. 

Axel also organized a mini party to celebrate its rank up. Since he had done it for Pidgeot, he felt bad for not doing it to Venusaur.

"Axel, do you know what tomorrow is?", asked Agnes full of anticipation. 

"What is tomorrow? Is it your birthday?", asked Axel and started to think, and then he realized that Agnes' birthday was recently celebrated. So, what was tomorrow?

"Tomorrow is Blaze Pokemon competition.", said Agnes.

"Really? I thought there was still time for it.", said Axel.

"No, it was 2 weeks before, but since you were in intense training, we didn't want to disturb you. Mom also said that you were under a lot of pressure at that time.

But we are planning to do it tomorrow. Are you ready for it?", asked Agnes.

Agnes was right about the pressure. The pressure was due to Venusaur's, Pidgeot's, and Gyarados's rank up. Since 2 of them had ranked up recently, he was in a happy mood. 

The Blaze Pokemon competition was something Axel organized 6 months ago. It was called Axel Pokemon competition at that time. It was a competition where Pokemon of the same rank would compete and then the winner of each rank would be rewarded.

Later, his family's Pokemons also wanted to compete so it was called 'Blaze Pokemon Competition'.

"Let's do it after 3 days.", said Axel.

"Ok, we do need to organize and buy a lot of things for it. You are right, let's do it after 3 days.", said Agnes as she happily ran towards her mother to tell the good news.

"What is Blaze Pokemon competition?", asked Red.

Axel went on to tell the story of how it was created and what happened at the first competition.

"You think that I will fall for it?", asked Axel again. 

"Hahaha, I just want to say that if your Pokemon is at elemental rank, don't you have confidence in beating my Pokemon who is at elemental rank?", asked Red.

Axel didn't want to include Red in the competition cause the competition would be very fierce and he just wanted to enjoy the fight. However, including Red would also test his Pokemon and this may inspire them to train even harder. 

"Ok, I will include you in the competition but you have to submit to me the Pokemons that you want to enter in the competition before the competition starts."

"I am okay with that I would not use a Pokemon that is king rank or above.", said Red with a smile. 

Axel could not tell what Red was thinking but he was not liking that smile on his face.

He wanted the competition to be after 3 days cause, Axel predicted that Gyarados would rank up to pseudo-king rank by that time.

Next day,

Agnes was very happy for some reason. She was making banners and balloons all over the house for the competition. She only had one Pokemon and that was Dragonite but she was confident that her Pokemon would win this time. 

Axel was concentrating and using his new techniques. Red was also training him on psychic techniques. Till now he had only learned 2 techniques, 'Psychic resistance' and 'Mental communication.' 

'Psychic resistance' was different from 'Aura resistance' as it would block psychic-type status attacks like 'Confusion' and reduce their effects while 'Mental communication' would help Axel to communicate with his Pokemons. 

He could still not communicate properly with words but he could not understand the meaning of their cries. It still needed to be leveled up quite a bit to understand the Pokemon completely. 

Red had said that Axel was doing very well in training and had progressed beyond his expectations.

The host had fulfilled the requirements. The host is now ranking up to rare rank.

The same bone-crushing pain came over all over his body. He felt like every cell of his body was being pierced by needles. It was something that could not be described in words. 

However, the pain was still less than the first time. After 3 minutes of pain, the pain was once again turned into bliss and he felt a very soothing feeling.
