A disloyal's spot

Miss Nair couldn't wait much but called the other team members to come as soon as possible. She phoned Jake when Mon was not available. After what she had heard from Kiya it was difficult for her to even call up Jake but she did. They needed to have a conversation. 

Jake and Monica arrived as soon as they got the call. They stood at the door for a moment to scan the location. As earlier the people stared at them too and one of the waitresses came up running towards them. 

"Are you from the investigation department? " She asked as her light brown eyes widened on seeing them. 

"Yes." Monica and Jake said in unison. 

"That's good. Miss Kiya and the officers are waiting for you upstairs. I will show you the way. " She said as she led the way towards the stairs. 

"Looks like they found something solid this time. '' Monica whispered as they climbed the stairs. Her smile appeared on her face. 

"I hope it's helpful. " Jake said.
