The Test of Elemental Powers

By the time Emily and Shadow returned to the Alessandro mansion, it was already past ten o'clock late at night, way past dinner time. Yet, they found Leo, Crist, and Daniel sitting in the living room while watching a live football match. 

"Someone finally remembered that they have a home," Crist remarked in a teasing tone as he noticed them first.

Emily and Shadow made their way toward the trio and settled down on the couches, Shadow took his place on a single couch at the very end as usual while Emily found a comfy spot between Leo and Daniel.

"Did I miss anything special?" She questioned while looking at her brothers who immediately shook their heads in denial.

"How can there be anything special happening here when you were absent?" Leo asked as he gave his sister the biggest smile possible.
