My ears were ringing...

George glanced at his friend and wife for one more time and after getting their approval he declared in one breath, "We want Ivan and Elysia to get married with each other."

The living room became silent for a while as the young generations thought that they must have heard something wrong..

Their mouth was gaped open widely as they were still not able to believe whatever their parents had just said.

What it seemed like hours though it was only few minutes had passed when they were finally able to process it in their minds which made them shock to the core.

As a result of their shock, both Ivan and Elysia shouted together in a very loud voice which was enough to bring an earthquake on the world.

"What!!!!!"

Hearing the loud yell of these not so immature persons, Emma got scared and trembled a little before bursting out in a huge cry.

"Wahhhhhhhh!"

Everyone's heads snapped towards the little angel who was now sobbing out of fear and rushed towards her to calm down the cute little princess.

But who were they joking too?

She was not ready to lower her cry down, even it got louder by second by second.

Adam immediately took his daughter in his arms and swayed him from left to right to stop her cry..

Whereas Natasha made funny faces to make the apple of her eye smile again..

Though it didn't help Emma to smile but she surely stopped crying and looked at the two persons who was the reason behind her cries.

Ivan and Elysia were still baffled by the news but for them, the little Emma was important than their personal affair.

So without wasting their time, they rushed towards the little princess and kneeled in front of her.

Looking at her small face which still had some tear strains, both of them almost apologized in unison, "I'm sorry Emma."

As they spoke almost together, it came to them as a surprise and they looked at each other being stupefied..

The elders observed their unintentional co-ordination and smiled knowingly.

Gaining their not so lost senses back, they again focused on the little princess who was now giving them a toothless smile.

Her adorable smile was enough to make others content. They felt relieved that…finally Emma was happy and all smiley smiley..

After she was settled, Ivan asked their parents, "What did you guys just say? Did I hear it wrong that you guys are talking about my and Elysia's marriage?"

Elysia too got reminded about the previous announcement of their parents and she immediately hyped up.

"Yes.. I too heard the same. I thought my ears were ringing that's why I heard such an unexpected thing...

But now that Ivan too have confirmed it, that's mean I heard it right. Isn't it?" Elysia asked in a straight tone, her hands folded under her chest.

Laura nudged her husband with her elbow, making him look at her with raised eyebrows.

Aaron saw his wife signalling him to say something and getting the clue, finally he spoke up, "Ivan and Ely.. Whatever you heard is absolutely right..

We, elders, have decided that it'll be the best if both of you guys get married. We really think that you both are compatible for each other."

"What? Compatible? I'm really sorry uncle to ask you this, but…

From which angle do we both look compatible? We don't even talk to each other properly." Ivan asked being utterly confused.
