Chapter 38- Stone in Blood

"No! you always lie to me. I know that you are very very sick," Mina cried. "But this time I'll save you....I'll definitely save you Reya. cuz I love you so much," suddenly her entire body started to glow blue. her veins, like little roots popped out, making her look like an earthen elf.

"Mina stop! please you might hurt yourself!" Reya held her little sister's shoulders.

after Clive's analysis she knew that powers came with a price. it takes a tole on their health. Mina's health was already very bad, but now she is using her mysterious powers forcefully.

"Mina stop please..please baby you are hurting yourself!" she begged hugging her.

"No!!" she shouted and hugged her tightly. teh blue veins on her body suddenly became brighter and emitted some kind of aura out of it. thsi aura flowed into Reya's body. it ran into veins making her freeze in spot.

"Please baby stopp," Reya cried hugging her tightly.

using her powers was taking a toll on Mina's body she was shining dimmer and dimmer until she lost conciousness.

Reya picked her up and rushed to Clive's study. it was pitch black in her room and in her urgency she left her torch in her room. stumbling around she ran over to his room.

she knocked loudly. "Clive! Clive!" she shouted.

her mother heard this but she just thought that Reya was having another fight with Clive so she went back to sleep.

"Clive please open up." But the door remained firmly closed.

Clive on the other hand was wearing his headphones and was busy reaching the DNA of the blood sample he collected from the tissue.

"Clive!!" Reya shouted loudly but it seemed that Clive was not willing to open. without any thought she put all her powers on her feet and kicked it.

The door shattered to pieces.

Clive who was holding a test tube, dropped it in shock. "Reya?" he whispered.

But before he could finish, Reya dashed over to him in the speed of light holding her unconcious sister.

"Clive look at her please," she said and showed him.

Clive put down everything else in his hand and took Mina from her arms. "Tell me what happened,"

"I....I don't know.... she kept saying that she wanted to save too and suddenly her body started to shine bright blue. Clive please help I think Mina also has some kind of mysterious power." Reya said in a hurry.

She did not know of Clive understood or not but she summed up everything she knew.

"Whao, whoa slow down. tell me what kind of power does she have." he said.

"um.... her veins glow blue, other than that I dont knwo what her power is actually," Reya stuttered.

Clive placed Mina on a reclined bed and took her BP and pressure. "What preconditions does she have?" he said without looking up.

Reya froze next to him. "cancer," she muttered.

"speak louder," Clive shouted. he took some blood samples and placed it for testing.

"Mina has Cancer!" Reya shouted with tears rolling down her cheeks.

Clive gazed back at her with shi mouth agape. "Darn," he started testing everything.

he picked a vial of her blood. "What is her blood group?" he said.

"O positive, I'd you need blood you can also take it from me," Reya said and held out her hands.

Clive did not accept it. he smacked her hand away and held teh test tubes. "No, your blood has unknown antigens. I don't know how your blood will react with Mina's blood,"

"But....."

"No buts. stand aside you are in the way," Clive said pouring the blood into theee other vials. as soon as it started cooling down it started coagulating.

he swishes teh test tube around and aientuing clanged inside of it.

"What!" he whispered and poured out the vial. there was coagulated blood and a peice of rock in it.

"what is this?" he poured the other vials out and there was a small rocks in each of them.

Reya ran over to him and looked over his shoulders. "what is wrong?"

Clive stepped aside and looked at Mina in a weird light. "Reya, do you know what this is?" he held up the small rocks with a pair of tongs.

Reya picked then up but the stones cooled her fingers to her bone. "Ahh," She dropped the stone accidentally. the moment the stone hit the ground it started creating small ice shards on the carpet.

This looked so similar to what she had seen before.

"Clive, This.....this looks similar to that moon rock," she whispered with her eyes wide open.
