Joining a Party

Zane logged into Parallel, and a male voice greeted him warmly.

"Welcome back to Parallel, Zane. It has been three months since you last logged in. Please choose your city. You can also turn on the location button and be transferred into the exact location in the game."

"Amherst College, Capital City of Bevan."

A loud chime was heard, and a bright light flashed. The light engulfed the space in front of him. When Zane opened his eyes again, he was in a scarily similar environment. He was in a pod in front of the Department of Combat. He stepped out. This was the first time he was coming here in Parallel; he looked left and right. It was so similar, it was uncanny, but there was a huge difference yet.

The colorful atmosphere—many people were dressed in old uniforms, and various people carried various weapons. Zane was not so different; he was dressed in black, light armor.

"Zane! You are late."
