One small lie

Luke was walking in a dark, creepy hallway, he saw someone at the end of the hallway.

He shot an arrow at him, but he disappeared in a puff of smoke making the arrow stick to the wall.

The mysterious man surprised him from behind, making him drop his arrows.

Luke fell to the ground as the man grabbed his arrow, he tried to escape but the man stabbed him with the arrow, he dropped it and ran away.

Luke was laying on the floor.

Luke woke up and screamed, waking Lucy up.

Lucy: What's wrong baby?

Luke: I had a nightmare.

Lucy: Will talk about it tomorrow, go back to sleep.

The next day....

Lucy: This is you're headquarters huh?

Luke: Yup.

Lucy met everybody, including Ratchet and Clank.

Lucy: I get why my overprotective husband would want to keep this a secret from me, but what I don't get is why you told the kids?

John, Luke, Jack and Jill scratched their necks and coughed.

Luke: I'm going to speak to John and the kids in the corner.

They huddled in the corner.

Lucy looked at everyone else, they shrugged at her.

John looked at Lucy to see her talking to everyone and then looked back at them.

John clears his throat.

John: So uh, are you planning to tell her that the cops put you in jail?

Jill: Come on dad! you know how mom is, she's very forgiving, I'm sure she'll understand.

Luke: What should I say? I was in jail dressed up as Yellow warp because I killed two people? Yea no, that won't work.

Jack smirks sneakily.

Jack: You don't have to tell mom the WHOLE truth.

Luke: Jack, that's not how relationships wor—

Luke: Jack my boy, you're a genius!

Jack patted himself on the back.

Luke went to talk to Lucy.

Lucy: So?

Luke: I was on the news..

Lucy: Yea.

Lucy rolled her eyes.

Lucy: I don't know any superheroes who aren't on the news.

Luke: Wait, what other superheroes do you know?

Lucy facepalmed.

Lucy: I know DC and Marvel, duh.

Luke: Oh, right.

Luke: I was framed for murder and I was sent jail.

Lucy: WHAT?!?

Luke bit his lip.

Lucy: Oh ok.

Luke: What? Your not bad?

Lucy: What can I do? It already happened, besides at least your out now.

Luke: Ok wow, I thought you would've been angry, I'm glad you're not.

Lucy: Why waste you're precious life being angry all the time?

Luke: You're right.

Lucy: So, are we going to tell them that you had a nightmare last night.

Luke: Yeah.

Luke: I had a nightmare where some guy stabbed me out of no where.

Max: Do you think it was the joker?

Lucy: Who's the joker?

Luke: This guy where trying to catch and yes.

Max snapped his fingers.
