I was half stunned that it turned out to be Veronica for whom Peter was working for, but he was too suspicious the whole time to take me completely by surprise. We joined the precinct together, so I was amazed that he would betray me, betray us so easily. All I wanted to know now was why did he do it?

Which led me to wondering, could this be the reason I was caught? I remember I was very careful not to get caught, and yet I was discovered. When I went undercover, Peter wasn't informed for what I was undercover for. He got a promotion last year, maybe that's why he found out where I was and ratted me out?

I couldn't believe that I just found their lair. If the police found out about it, if the Captain finds out about it, my case will be finally over. I rejoiced and tried to think of some ideas that could help, while also trying to follow whatever was happening here.
