"Hey Jimin, what do you want to be after we graduate?"

"I'm not sure but I hope that someday I'll be able to become an idol. How about you? What do you want to be?"

"I'm not sure as well. There isn't anything that seems fascinating to me except photography."

Photography has always been a part of (Y/N)'s life ever since she was a little kid. Her mother who was a photographer would always bring her to places that had breathtaking views or even go into the depths of mother nature.

She loved every single thing about it. The sound of clicking when you push down the button, the instant flash when the camera took a photo, the amazing quality, the visual representation of an object with a deep meaning behind it, the angles, and most importantly, how the images turn out.

She wanted to take seize the moment of meaningful events that occur throughout her life and becoming a photographer could get the job done easier. First of all, she wanted to take a picture of her with Jimin and Taehyung before they graduate.

It would be funny yet sad to look back at themselves when they grow older.

"(Y/N)? Hello?"

"W-Wha-"

"You kind of spaced out there, you okay?"

"Yea I'm fine."

The thought of Taehyung surged through her mind, making the girl, unfortunately, recall the breakup. Numerous pictures on her phone mainly consisted of him and her together. Smiling, pinching, selfies, hugs, and even doing hilarious gestures. Just like your typical teen couple would do.

All the moments she captured of him and her together felt horrible. Now that they have broken up, what should she do with the photos? Delete them?

That was one thing she hated about photography.

The pictures you take with someone you love isn't always going to make you think about happy memories. Just looking at a picture of her and Taehyung side by side makes her want to completely break down on the spot.

Who would have thought a break up would be this awful.

"Are you serious? You're getting discharged tonight?" Jungkook's eyes widened while he attempted to contain his enthusiasm. (Y/N) was finally going to be free from the hospital. No more needles, no more check-ups, and especially no more hospital food.

"Of course I am! I've been here for too long, the doctors finally decided that I could leave." A light chuckle escaped her mouth as she maneuvered her legs over to the edge of the bed. The thought of finally leaving made her feel relieved. However, at the same time, she felt a bit sad.

She had grown accustomed to the nurses taking care of her and would even strike up a conversation with them once in a while. At first, she felt uncomfortable with them around but eventually, the nurses were very nice and entertaining to talk with. Maybe one day she'll come to visit again.

"Is Jimin coming?"

"... I don't think so..."

Jimin hasn't visited her ever since the day she had woken up. She thought that he would pop up one day or probably surprise her but, of course, he never showed up. Why were her expectations for him showing up so high? He was probably busy like always. She kicked her legs back and forth, not knowing that the maknae was approaching her.

"Don't worry about him too much (Y/N). In every conversation we have, you always get like this whenever you mention him. Relax." Standing in front of her, he reached towards the top of her head as he ruffled her already messy, tangled (H/C) hair.

A blush appeared on her face as she immediately grabbed a hold of his wrist and pulled his hand away. "Don't treat me like a child! I'm older than you..."

Seeing (Y/N) all flustered made him want to tease her more.

'Cute.'

"Are you blushing?"

"W-what! No, I'm not!" Immediately pulling her legs up as she backed away, she turned around, making her back face towards him. Jungkook couldn't wait until she finally gets to leave. He'll be able to see her more often. However, he was mostly satisfied that he was able to make her not think about Jimin for a second.

He turned his head to the side to peek at her facial expression. He thought that she would be a blushing mess but only saw how depressed the aura around her become. She was back to thinking about Jimin again. This always happens but there was nothing he could do to drive her thoughts away from him.

He reached his hand towards her but halted midway.

'Fuck, what am I doing?'

Jungkook thought as he retracted his arm back to his side.

Giving out a sigh, he grabbed a hold of his coat as he began to step towards the door. "I need to go, I'll come back tonight when you get discharged." From the looks of it, she wanted to be alone.

"We barely had time to interact, are you busy with something?"

"Yea, I just remembered it now."

"Alright, I'll see you later."

Waving his hand, he opened the door and was about to head out but suddenly stumbled upon the same doctor who had eavesdropped on (Y/N) and Jimin's conversation days ago. His hand was formed into a fist in the air, it looked like he was about to knock.

"O-oh... hello there." The doctor stuttered, still feeling a bit flustered about their last encounter.

"Is there something you need?" The youngest asked as he leaned against the door frame. (Y/N) perked her head up at the noise as she stared at the scene unfolding in front of her.

"I just need to do a check-up on her before she leaves."

The doctor clutched his clipboard closer to him, causing Jungkook to look down at the item. Sweat began to form on the doctor's temples as he gave out a nervous laugh.

'... weird...'

It seemed as if he didn't want Jungkook to see what was on it.

"Alright then." With that, he stomped away with a scowl plastered on his face. His curiosity grew at each step he took while walking away. He didn't know if it was just him but it seems that the doctor knew something.

Jimin was sitting down on the filthy couch with his head held on his hands. The beer he had been drinking recently made him feel extremely nauseous and occasionally made him feel the need to throw up. These are the effects of drinking but he could hold his alcohol pretty well so this was a first for him.

After that encounter with Taehyung, he never went back to the practice room.

It was a childish thing to do but he can't face him at this time. The information Taehyung told him back then still felt unbelievable. Why was he acting this way? They broke up so what's the big deal about it?

To make matters worse, a familiar ringtone echoed throughout the quiet apartment.

He picked up the phone which was beside him and answered, not bothering to check who the caller was.

"Hello?"

"I'm surprised. I didn't think you would pick up."

That voice...

'Why would he suddenly call me right now!'

"What do you want?" The idol demanded as his thumb slightly hovered over the end call button. There were times in the past where he would instantly hang up on him but the outcome of his actions would eventually lead to bad consequences.

"Don't you dare think about hanging up on me young man! You also shouldn't be talking to your father with that kind of attitude."

"Whatever, I'm busy. I don't feel like talking to you."

A sigh erupted from the other side of the phone. Seriously, out of all the time in the world, he had to call him right now. Before his father could respond, he instantly pressed the end call button and gently threw his phone on the other side of the couch.

Just like he expected, a couple more rings erupted from the device but eventually, it came to a stop. However, he actually was quite curious as to what he was going to talk about. Was it because of him, is it another task to complete, or is it something unrelated to that matter?

Instead of a call, a soft 'ding' came from the device. Grabbing his phone once again, he checked to see the notification at the bar and saw that it was a few text messages.

‎‎

Fucking asshole:

You shouldn't have done that Jimin.

‎‎

Fucking asshole:

I did have a task for you to accomplish but I guess this is the outcome you chose.

‎‎

Fucking asshole:

When the time has come, don't come crawling to me. I won't tolerate any of your pleas.

‎‎

"What the fuck..." Jimin muttered out loud as he began to type an immediate response back to his father. Don't come crawling to him? Why would he put that?

‎‎

Jimin:

Wtf are you talking about?

‎‎

Jimin:

You fucking psycho as if I would do any of that.

‎‎

Jimin:

I'm already used to the kinds of punishments you give me. What's so different about this one huh?

"So now he's not going to reply?"

Jimin watched the screen for about another minute or two but no reply came from his father. Furrowing his eyebrow in irritation, he let out a loud groan as he threw his phone back on the couch.

'Why would he text that. I never get these kinds of messages from him.'

He thought as he felt his gaze direct back at the device. It felt somewhat terrifying. If he texted that, that would mean that the punishment is something different from usual.

Standing up from the couch, he walked to the kitchen to grab himself a glass of water. His mind kept thinking about all the possibilities that might happen which made him even worry more. Replenishing his thirst, his mind started to drift off. The person he could only think about at the moment was (Y/N).

'Should I tell her?'

He thought but instantly shook his head in denial.

'What are you thinking Jimin? Why would you want to tell her? She'll just make a whole big fuss about it...'

Another groan left his lips as he placed the glass on top of the counter. Of course, he didn't want (Y/N) to get involved in his business but nowadays, he felt weird. That day inside the apartment a couple of weeks back definitely made him act differently.

Jimin hated to admit it but he really wanted her to comfort him right now. Like how she always did in the past. Just seeing her presence is enough to brighten his day a little. However, since she's been staying at the hospital, she couldn't exactly go wherever she wanted to go. Also, their relationship right now wasn't the best.

Jimin was so caught up in his thoughts that he didn't hear the notification sound coming from his phone.

Fucking asshole

Just wait. You'll see what's about to come. I've been wanting this to happen for a while now you see. But I feel like this is the right opportunity to do it.

A couple more minutes, another text message appeared but from a different person.

Kookie

(Y/N)'s getting discharged tonight. Just wanted you to know if you want to come and see her.

-

'Jimin didn't see the message...'

It has been over an hour or so since Jungkook has sent that message but Jimin never read it.

'Is he ignoring me? Surely he's not... I even put (Y/N)'s name on the text...'

He was currently walking down the sidewalk heading towards the hospital to pick up (Y/N). He could've driven his car or taken a taxi but it the night felt refreshing to have a nice stroll. It also felt like she needed some fresh air. Luckily, there weren't that many pedestrians around to bother them.

A smile began to form his lips. (Y/N) was finally getting out of the hospital after so many weeks. He felt relieved since he could tell how uncomfortable she was staying there, even though she doesn't express get feelings about it.

After a few minutes of walking through some intersections, his bright grin began to falter.

'Would she be happier if Jimin was there?'

A thought popped upon his mind as he took a quick glance at his phone however, the youngest decided to not do anything about it. It was Jimin's fault for not seeing the message in the first place. However, isn't it also Jungkook's fault for not sending him any more messages? What if he was busy with something and didn't bother to check just one message? Shaking his head, he continued his once peaceful stroll towards the building.

'God I'm so pathetic.'

It was always Jimin that made his mood fall.

Minutes flew by and he finally arrived at the front of the building. Standing by the entrance, (Y/N) was saying her final goodbyes to the nurses and the doctor who took care of her.

"I'm so glad you made a fast recovery! I hope you take care of your body more often." One nurse expressed. The other nurses beside her nodded their heads in agreement.

"Of course!" (Y/N) exclaimed as she did a small bow at her. "Thank you guys for taking care of me, I'm also sorry for making you worry."

"Sorry for interrupting your conversation ladies but (Y/N)..." The doctor inserted himself into the conversation as he tapped his pen on his clipboard. "Your friend is waiting for you there."

The girl turned around and there he was. Jungkook was standing in the distance staring at her. The way he was just standing there creeped her out a bit but he probably didn't want to engage himself in the conversation.

"You mean boyfriend."

"W-What!"

'Boyfriend! What is she talking about!?'

The giggles and light teasing coming from the nurses made her feel even more uncomfortable.

"You should go now (Y/N). I hope we'll see you someday."

'Thank you, doctor!'

Quickly thanking and bowing at them again, she jogged towards Jungkook with a bright smile on her face. His eyes that were on his phone immediately diverted to her presence.

"Hey." He said as soon as she stopped in front of him.

"Hey, what are you doing here?" She asked. The two of them began to walk side by side down the sidewalk.

"Don't you remember? I said I'll pick you up." He answered, placing his hands on the pocket of his hoodie. The girl formed an 'O' shape with her mouth, feeling a bit embarrassed for not remembering. "Don't you think the weather is nice? We should walk around for a bit, y' know, get some fresh air."

A cool breeze flew passed them, causing her to slightly shiver. "You're right." Flashing a smile once again up at the man who was looking down at her, she turned her head in another direction to look at the beautiful night sky. "It's very peaceful. I love it."

His eyes began to soften at her as he felt his heart begin to throb. She was so fixated at the stars that she didn't notice his hand coming into contact with the top of her head.

"Jungkook-" She began but got interrupted by his rough ruffling. "Hey! You're messing up my hair."

'It's the second time he's done this today...'

Jungkook let out a chuckle as he pulled her hoodie over her head. "You should have it on, you're going to catch a cold if you don't." The girl only nodded her head in response as they both continued on with their stroll. They were quiet but it wasn't an awkward silence, it was quite comfortable.

She never thought taking a walk with a friend would be this relaxing. Here and there they would strike up a conversation but it would usually fall back into silence. Time passed by but she never noticed how close Jungkook was beside her. They were so close that their pinkies could barely touch.

Jungkook turned his head to look at her but a tiny glint of light coming from an alleyway caught his attention. It felt weirdly familiar to him but he couldn't figure out why. (Y/N) who happened to turn her head to look at him caught him staring right passed her.

She stopped, causing him to stop as well.

"What's wrong? Is there someone there?"

Before she could look at what Jungkook was staring at, he immediately grasped her wrist and began to speed walk away.

"We should get going." He felt panicked but he didn't want her to feel uncomfortable. That light was awfully familiar, how can he not recognize what it is?

Unfortunately, (Y/N) was able to take a small glimpse at the alleyway.

That light.

She has seen that kind of light ever since her childhood. There was no denying that it was definitely a camera.

'Is it a camera?'

She thought to herself as she stared at the male in front of her. He looked both worried and terrified at the same time, his hand which was clasped onto her wrist was even trembling.

'(Y/N) are you stupid? What if it was something else? Don't jump into conclusions...'

Her heartbeat fastened as the palm of her hands started to sweat. Has Jungkook realized what it was? Is that why he started to drag her away? She gulped down in fear as she thought about what might happen in the future.

'That can't be a camera. Surely it's not.'

If it somehow was a camera, then everything would turn into complete chaos. Fortunately, Jungkook was wearing a mask that hid half of his face so the person shouldn't recognize him but her...

She wasn't.

She internally wished that whoever was behind it never took a picture of them.

How would Jimin react to this?

As they were about to turn the corner, the pair was oblivious of the faint sound of a snap coming from that exact alleyway.

"Gotcha."
