Chapter 4

The plane landed and we ended up going to a hotel.

*Flashback 3 hours ago*

Mr.Park: Okay everyone you will be sharing a room with your partner for the assignment. I know some of you may be questioning this since there are coed groups, but we trust you to make good decisions! If anything inappropriate happens you can report it to me or another teacher

*Back to the present*

Needless to say I wasn't happy but I should have seen it coming. Me and Yoongi have been avoiding contact and conversation. Surprisingly , he hasn't brought up anything about my diary or me liking him which I am very thankful for.

Mr.Park:*knocks on door* Y/n Yoongi it's dinner time I've already gathered everyone else meet us in the hall so we can walk to the restraunt.

We ended up going to a french restraunt which will help us with the food portion of the history project. I choose the Ratatouille.

Mr.Park: I want you and your partner to both write an analysis of the dish you choose and the history behind it like when it was created and by who. You should also write about the ingredients and how you make the dish. The analysis should be anywhere from 3-4 paragraphs long.

We ate our food and headed back to the hotel. As soon as we got into the room i got out my laptop and began my research and analysis.

Yoongi: Your gonna start your analysis now?

Y/n: Yeah why not? The sooner we get the project done the better

Yoongi: I guess your right it's just a little nerdy don't you think?

Y/n: Keep your comments to yourself! Besides wasn't it you who said "I have the highest ranks in the school"

Yoongi:*mumbles* It was just a joke jeez

Y/n: Huh?

Yoongi: Nothing

And with that he went to bed. I really cannot understand him. One minute he seems like he's trying to be nice and the next he's cold and distant.

* Next day*

As instructed we woke up at 6AM and took turns getting ready in the bathroom. We all headed to a cafe for breakfast. I had a chocolate croissant with a side of fruit and an espresso. We are going to the Palace of Dukes to look at some of the artwork and sculptures.

Mr.Park: I want you and your partner to pair up and write about 3 pieces of art you saw. It doesn't matter if it's a painting or sculpture. I want you to write about the significance of the artwork, the history, and how you felt seeing the artwork in person. This particular assignment should be 2-3 pages long.

we entered the inside of the palace and wow!

Y/n: It's so beautiful!

Mr.Park: Indeed it is! Okay everyone you may split up with your partner but meet back here in an hour and a half!

we began walking in the building taking in the beauty of each painting and sculpture. Even the architecture of the building itself was beautiful!

Yoongi: See anything you want to write about yet?

Y/n: How about that one!

I say pointing to a sculpture of a man laying down with 2 angles at his head,

Yoongi: That is the tomb of Phillip the Bold. He was the youngest son of John the good. When he was 22 he was given the tittle of Duke of Burgundy. He is famous for creating the Burgundian branch in the House of Valois as well as fighting in the battle of Poitier's at 14. He also transformed Dijon into one of the major cities in Medieval Europe.

Y/n: Wow you know a lot about the history of France

Yoongi: I just looked it up when we was doing our research, didn't you?

Y/n: Umm... Moving on!

Yoongi:*Giggles* You didn't? How are we supposed to get ideas for the project if you don't research the general history?

Y/n: D-did you just laugh?

Yoongi: I'm human too Y/n I do have emotions

Y/n: That's funny I thought you were a robot sent by aliens

Yoongi: Ha ha

We continued to look through the building to look for artwork for our project. Yoongi choose the 2nd one and we surprisingly both agreed and picked out the 3rd one. We all ate lunch at another restaurant and then went back to the hotel to begin researching our projects.

Y/n: aaannd done! Phew that took forever!

Yoongi: Yeah I know I was beginning to think we'd never finish this project! Oh by the way Mr.Park said we could have free time to do whatever as long as we are back in our rooms before the 10:00 curfew so I'm going with Taehyung and Jungkook somewhere.

He leaves and I call Lisa.

Lisa: Hello

Y/n: Hey Mr.park said we can have some free time do you want to go somewhere

Lisa: As a matter of fact I was just about to ask you the same thing! While we was at the palace of dukes a hot college local invited me to a party do you want to go?

Y/n: Sure! come on over and we'll get ready together!
