Chapter 20

"David! be fast bubear." Elie called. The whole family were ready to leave except for David who was taking too long to get his coat. It was winter nobody would go out with no coat.

David came down seconds later with no coat.

"Where is your coat honey?" Christy kindly asked.

David shrugged. He walked over to Elie snuggling into him and making grabby hands. Elie totally fell for it and picked him up.

Christy sigh walking up herself to go get the coat.

"David Mama asked you to get your coat why didn't you get it?" Elie asked.

David groaned hiding his face on the croak of Elie's neck. "I don't wanna go." He mumbled.

"We can't let you stay here alone, Mama and I are going to see if the baby is okay." Elie made him understand he just nodded tiredly.

Christy came back seconds later with David's coat. Elie dropped him down and helped him in. Then they left for their car.
