Chapter 36

The drive down to the pub was the drabbest Jae had ever had with Vukan and he couldn't blame the young man for mopping and keeping to himself all through. To help spice things up and help him get his mind off the problems at heart for some time, he had organized for a few friends to come join them. They were people Vukan knew from his days in art school and others he had met through Jae and Oliver. 

"We are just going to drink, play some games and hang out until you want to leave", Jae assured him after noting the skepticism about going to a pub on Vukan's face. "You need some distraction and what better way to get distracted than with your guys drinking some alcohol and just enjoying the moment?"

Vukan recalled his last drinking episode had ended with him waking up in bed naked and being defiled through the night with a crazy woman, but this time, he would be around trusted friends and he didn't particularly need to drink much.
