Chapter 32

Right about that time, Oliver scrolled through his phone and hurriedly kept it out of sight. Vukan's endless messages and phone calls were almost becoming a nuisance for him and he had to put his phone on silent to avoid any form of distraction. He had opted for something different; a date with Bruce. 

The decision wasn't quite easy considering how he was with Vukan but over the past few days, doubts had risen and even more so when Vukan continuously ridiculed him when he tried to communicate. Having caught a cold after falling into the pool at the resort, his voice was gone and nobody could understand him. 

He had expected Vukan to act accordingly with him and be his backbone but it wasn't the case. His lover made a mockery of his situation and it only left Oliver doubting if what they had was indeed real or still even right. 

The night out with Bruce ended with Bruce dropping him at home, just as Vukan's message came through.
