ISABELLA
"One would think your hiding from the paparazzi," Sun says when I approached the table, it was currently Friday at noon, after staying home all week hiding the ugly cut and bruised on my face I couldn't keep cancelling on Sun. Not after she threatened to show up at the house. Hence why I was currently in Soho, meeting her for lunch. I had a scarf tied around my head and the biggest sunglasses I owned to cover the injury.
"I'm sorry everything has been crazy with PTA and Rosalie, I was swamped all week." I apologise when she gets up to embrace me.
"It's great to see you again," I say when we settle down, I scan the modern restaurant. It was very chic and new.
"I know, we didn't get a chance to talk at the party." She watches me, "Are you going to take off those sunglasses, we are indoors."
"I think I'll leave them on, let's just say I had too much wine last night." I smile at her and she immediately laughs shaking her head.
