Staying by Your Side

As he step outside the tent, Mae immediately goes towards him.

"Honey, are you okay?" Mae quickly asked after he saw Axel comes out.

"I'm fine, mom." He muttered quietly. " Eomer let's take my mate in to my house so she can properly lay down." He said and looked at Eomer who nod and goes back inside the tent to get his stuff and prepare Kanisha for transferring in Axel's house.

"Where did you find her son?" Hudson asked curiously.

"I found her body near the waterfall, her clothes is wet. I wonder if she get drown there." Axel spoke sadly to his parents who nodded in understanding.

"If only my legs would function again, I would definitely help you son but... " Hudson said while clutching his pants. He really wanted to help his only son but it's hard for him as his legs preventing him from walking again.

"It's okay dad, you don't have to worry about me." Axel offered a small smile to his dad and goes back to the tent.
