Good Times Come To A Crashing End

Three days passed without much change. Feng Xi's game company had already produced three games and each was a hit. This was of course due to her knowing which games would sell big from her previous life and then just taking the idea for herself. She was bound to make a huge profit. Each and every one of her games was raking in millions of yuan. Except for one game she had launched on the international market last month which was now bringing in, close to one billion a month! Her current net worth including her stocks was worth over thirty billion yuan! In all of China, Feng Xi was the youngest self made billionaire!

Even though she had all this money. Feng Xi never showed it. To her, it was all investment capital. She didn't dare spend a dime for herself until she had a few hundred billion yuan in the bank. But even still she was living a very good life at this time. Compared to her past life she would have been working hard to please Tang Zhi. Now she was working hard for herself with a man that cared for her and that she cared dearly about.

Feng Xi finally began to understand her feelings for Prince Jin. She found herself always thinking about him. This was not even close to the feeling she had in her past life for Tang Zhi. No, this feeling was stronger, deeper. She had an understanding of what this feeling was but she dared not say it out loud. Not yet… Not until she was sure that she would not be hurt down the road. That hint of fear still welled up inside her any time she ever thought of the word love…

Between her new bodyguards who she had fully taken as older sisters and teasing Prince Jin her everyday school life was going well. Her time off was all spent hanging out with Prince Jin in the courtyard not caring to visit the town below. Like right now she was in the front yard straddling Prince Jin's lap hiding his bulge that she accidentally gave him. Earlier before anyone came out she was busy leaving her mark on his neck. This caused a reaction in his lower half. Before he could get up to go take care of it. Ru'er, Xin'er, and the Qiu sisters had all come out to eat breakfast. Feng Xi sat with her legs on either side of Prince Jin's legs, her butt positioned perfectly on top of her Little Jin. She was doing her best to not let the small twitches she felt under her butt make her blush!

Of course, Qiu Ya wouldn't let such a good opportunity to tease Feng Xi pass by, so instead of saying good morning she put on a sly look and asked: "Oh? What were you two doing?" While making obscene gestures with her hands. Which she quickly stopped when she saw Prince Jin's cold glare.

"Jin'er's lap looked comfortabl...." Feng Xi was about to answer Qiu Ya with a lie when her cell phone rang. She saw the number and immediately picked it up. "Grandpa Dai?"

"Young Miss… Listen to what I have to say and do not freak out… Your father was in a car accident..." Dai Fen said slowly.

"What!? My father was in an accident, is he okay?" Feng Xi stood right up and shouted. Giving everyone a start.

"Your father is in intensive care right now. This just happened a few hours ago while he was on his way to the palace for morning court. A large dump truck had driven straight into the driver's side door and smashed the whole car against a building. From what was recorded from the street camera this was a premeditated event. Meaning someone planned to do this to try to take your father out of the picture. Once I heard this I ran to your house to check if everything was alright. But when I got there it looked as if someone blew the house up. I only found one servant who was barely alive and sent them to the imperial hospital where your father is and both are under the protection of your people. When I checked the prison cells in the basement where your father had Jiang Yi strung up, she had disappeared. Someone came to save her." Dai Fen's voice was grim. All they had to go on was keeping the servant he found that was hanging on to a thread of life, alive. Only when they woke up would they have a clue as to who did all this.

"Grandpa Dai, send a helicopter to the Academy right now! I will meet you at the hospital." After saying this she hung up the phone and turned to look at Prince Jin. Tears were welling up in her eyes that she was doing her best to hold back. "Jin'er I have to leave school." She remembered when Xin'er told her that Feng Lan escaped from the Academy. If they had gone to her house to get Jiang Yi then it definitely had something to do with Feng Lan and her mysterious backer.

"I will go with you." Prince Jin pulled Feng Xi into a hug and whispered into her ear. "In times like this it's okay to cry, you do not need to hold it in."

His words were warm and full of love. It sunk into Feng Xi's heart causing her to bury her face into his shoulder and cry. His warm embrace and love were all she had at this moment to keep her sanity in check. In her past life, nothing had happened to her father while she was alive and suffering. But now… She had let Feng Lan escape and in return, her father was in intensive care on the verge of death. If not for this man holding her in his arms she would have thrown everything out the window. All her plans, her future, in order to find the culprits would be over. She would go to the Jiangs and Tangs and kill each and every person there for revenge. Then spend the rest of her life hunting down Feng Lan and Jiang Yi and their mysterious backer.

Prince Jin held Feng Xi in his arms and looked at Feng Xi's guards and servants and said: "Xin'er, Ru'er go pack all your Young Miss's stuff, her school year ends here. Eunuch Li, do the same for my stuff. Qiu Sisters you will be coming with us." After giving out these orders he picked up Feng xi in his arms and marched towards the only helipad in the Academy. This helipad was only allowed to be used in emergencies such as this.

I small update for everyone. I have to bring Feng Xi down to two chapters a day. I do apologize for this, but I need to make a bit more time in my day for my day to day life. With multiple novels going at a time it really takes up my entire day leaving me with no time at all. I hope this will not stop you all from voting for Feng Xi! Please do keep supporting the novel. As usual please leave a comment telling me what you think!
