Chapter 87: Bloodstone Wands

Bloodstone wands contain one or more bloodstones: a large one for the wand's end cap, a small one at the wand's tip, or small ones along the wand's length.

Bloodstone (also known as heliotrope) is a dark green form of chalcedony that incorporates inclusions of either iron ore or red jasper. Bloodstone gets its name from these red inclusions that symbolize blood. Bloodstone is typically found in the form of a highly polished cabochon with red spots on a dark green background.
