Light and Dark.

"I don't want to eat seafood." Yong-Hyeon said to Li Hwa as they arrived outside of the misfit gang's apartment door.

"He ordered spicy Indian food since you love spicy food." Li Hwa answered her son.

She rummaged through her handbag for the keys of the apartment.

Finding the keys, she took them out and opened the apartment door.

"Don't forget to take your shoes off, Yong-Hyeon!" Li Hwa reminded her son as they entered the apartment

"You don't have to remind me that, mom!" Yong-Hyeon rolled his eyes at his mother.

Li Hwa closed the door before locking it up.

Just as the two arrived at the living room, they both stiffened up seeing Aaron.

Aaron had a wry smile on his face as he greeted the mother and son.

"Hi!" Aaron.

Yong-Hyeon sighed looking at Aaron before he facepalmed himself.

Beside Yong-Hyeon, Li Hwa was shocked to the core, seeing Aaron in a wheelchair.

Her heart rate spiked up as she ran towards Aaron dropping her handbag on the floor.

"W-what happened, why are you in a wheelchair!!!" Li Hwa's voice cracked a bit as she asked Aaron with concern on her face.

Seeing the anxious look on Li Hwa's face, Aaron sighed before he told her about the operation.

"I didn't tell you, because I didn't want to worry you or stress you out..."

Zulkernyn coming out of the airport took out his phone.

"Did they send the car I requested?" He muttered before checking his phone.

Confirming that there is a car for him at the parking lot, Zulkernyn made his way there.

Arriving at the parking lot, Zulkernyn looked around for the car that his subordinate left for him.

"A black Nissan 350z... Where is it..."

Spotting the car in a corner of the parking lot, Zulkernyn frowned.

Standing next to the car was a young blonde woman with glasses.

She looked to be in her early 20s, wearing a white shirt with a grey suit coat, grey semi-formal trousers and black heels.

She was surrounded by 4 people in suits.

Just a single glance at the four men will tell anyone that they are bad news.

Looking at the four, Zulkernyn judged that they are probably from some local gang or some organisation.

Suddenly, someone bumped with Zulkernyn.

Zulkernyn cursed inwardly, he was about to shout at the two people who ran past him but he stopped.

He caught a glimpse of a gun on one of them.

They were running towards the four people and the girl.

"Just my luck, I'm f*cking tired as f*ck and now something like this happens in front of me!" He muttered irritably before he hid behind a car.

The girl entered the car which was meant for Zulkernyn.

"Hey, that's my car! Really, am I going to watch my car being stolen? F*ck, I told that idiot not to leave the car unlocked and leave the keys inside!" Zulkernyn grumbled.

He cursed the girl and his subordinate who left the car unlocked, leaving the keys inside.

The two men with guns, pointing their gun at the woman fiercely instructed her to come out of the car.

The woman grits her teeth before she came out of the car.

"Where's the hard drive?" One of the men with a gun asked sneering at the woman.

The woman glared at the man before she replied to him.

"I don't know what you're talking about!"

Zulkernyn who was observing the situation sighed.

"In my current condition, I can't do much." He said feeling annoyed by his physical condition.

Zulkernyn may look fine from the outside but under his clothes, his body was wrapped in bandages.

A few hours ago in Stardust City, Zulkernyn was ambushed by people from the Abyss for the location of the Library of Wisdom and Death.

He still hasn't recovered from his injuries and is in a terrible state.

Rough movements will worsen the injuries in his body.

But looking at the situation, he has to do something.

He heard the woman ask the man if they were from Ember.

'What does Ember have to do anything with these people?' Zulkernyn thought in his mind.

He needs answers and he judged that the woman might have some answers for him.

"F*ck it!" Zulkernyn cursed before he took some deep breaths.

He slowly approached the people from behind without making any sounds.

The blonde woman saw Zulkernyn from the corner of her eyes.

They met eyes for a brief moment.

Seeing that the woman has noticed him, Zulkernyn put a finger on his mouth gesturing her to keep quiet.

Taking off the backpack from his shoulder, Zulkernyn had the backpack in his right hand.

Just a few feet away from a man with a gun in his hand, Zulkernyn swung the backpack in the back of the man's neck.

"Ughhh!" The guy fell to the ground unable to cope with the blow.

The five others were startled to see their partner lying down.

The woman taking advantage of the opportunity kicked the other man who had a gun in his hand.

Zulkernyn quickly stepped on the hand of the man who fell to the ground.

The man screamed in pain before letting go of the gun from his hand.

Zulkernyn kicked the gun away as he went forward towards the woman.

Placing his hands on the woman's shoulder, Zulkernyn jumped before dropkicking one of the men in the chest.

"F*ck!!!" Zulkernyn cursed feeling intense pain from his abdomen and his left shoulder.

He figured that his wounds might have opened up because of the actions he just made.

The woman was surprised by Zulkernyn's actions!

She quickly turned to one of the men approaching her.

Grabbing the arm, she twisted the arm before kicking the man on his groin, causing him to fall on his knee while clutching his middle section.

"Ahhhh!!!"The man gave out a long piercing cry.

Even Zulkernyn flinched hearing the man scream.

"Get inside the car!" Zulkernyn instructed the woman before turning to the two, who remained standing.

The blonde woman nodded and got inside the car.

The two in front of Zulkernyn charged towards him at the same time.

Zulkernyn dodged one of them by sidestepping before ducking to avoid the fist of the other guy.

Squatting down, Zulkernyn swiftly opened his backpack on the ground.

Taking out a couple of pencils, he got up.

The two again threw their fist at Zulkernyn.

Zulkernyn avoided the guy one the left and blocked the guy on the right with his left arm.

Kicking the guy on the left in the shins, Zulkernyn turned to the guy on right before stabbing a pencil in the neck.

He quickly turned to the guy on the left, grabbing the arm he stabbed the arm with the spare pencil in his hand.

Giving out a few blows in the chest, Zulkernyn grabbed the head before twisting it to the right with all of his strength, snapping the neck.

Now that all of the attackers are on the ground, Zulkernyn picked up his bag and ran towards the car.

Getting inside the car, he stepped on the gas and left the parking lot with the girl beside him in the passenger seat.

"Stop the car! You're bleeding!!!" The woman said noticing blood on Zulkernyn's shirt.

"I can't! What if they catch up? We can't park the car on the highway anyways." He replied to the woman before speeding up.

"But you're bleeding!" The woman said in an anxious voice.

She looked around the car to see if there's anything to stop the bleeding.

Finding nothing, she tore off a piece from her shirt.

Moving from her seat towards Zulkernyn. She lifted Zulkernyn's T-shirt with her hands.

"Wait-what are you doing!!!" Zulkernyn almost lost control of the car.

"I'm checking your wou~~OH, MY GOD!!!" Seeing the wounds on Zulkernyn's abdomen, the woman was shocked!

"STOP THE CAR RIGHT AWAY!!! WE NEED TO TEND TO YOUR WOUNDS RIGHT NOW!!!"

Zulkernyn sighed before he turned to the woman beside him.

"Alright, we will get off in the next intersection. Happy?"
