Just confess, dammit!!!

Nyx widened her eyes in surprise hearing Ana.

"When? How? Why didn't you tell us!" Nyx questioned Ana.

She remembered Ana was happy with Brad, they were great together. Their relationship was so good that the misfit gang thought they will end up together in the end.

Hell! Last time she spoke with Brad, he was planning to propose Ana to move in with him.

Nyx couldn't think of any reason why Ana broke up with such a nice guy.

But Ana's next words gave Nyx the answers that she couldn't think of.

The answer was almost as shocking as Ana's confession to her.

"It'z because of you." Ana said pouting.

'That's cute! But whaaaat!?' Nyx said in her mind.

Ignoring the cute pouting expression on Ana, Nyx asked.

"How?"

"It'z because I've alwayz been in love with you! I vas afraid of ruining our friendzhip, zo I chose to bury the feeling I 'ave for you. Vhat if you didn't like me? Vhat if you pushed me away and ztart to ignore me? Vhat if you don't want to be friendz with me anymore?"

Ana gripped Nyx's hand firmly as she explained everything to Nyx.

She told Nyx about her feelings, about all the flings she had to forget Nyx, about Brad who Ana tried to replace Nyx with but failed.

Tears trickled down Ana's cheeks as she told Nyx everything.

Nyx was shocked at first before feeling guilty.

She felt guilty because if only she dared to confess her feeling to Ana, Ana never would have gone through everything that she revealed to her.

She too was like Ana, afraid to express her love because she was afraid to lose Ana. Fear of losing her friendship with Ana, fear of saying the wrong things, fear of being rejected, fear of Ana not reciprocating or fear of not finding the correct words to confess her feelings.

She delayed, in the end when she saw Ana found a boyfriend for herself? Her hope shattered.

"Love is a beautiful emotion, it takes a lot of courage to express your feelings to someone you love." Nyx muttered remembering a certain Godesess's words.

"Hmm?" Ana.

"We are cowards...How silly of us, hahaha!" Nyx laughed thinking how stupid it is.

Communication works both ways, and it is the key to all relationships but it also is the first step of every relationship.

Confessing to someone you have a crush on is hard.

The fears of rejection and losing friendship is like a parasite that thrives on influencing negative feelings to oneself.

It's a big step into the uncertain future.

Thinking for a second, Nyx decided to confess her feelings and confront her reality.

"Anastasia, I love you too!"

Nyx's words baffled Ana. Her eyes widened in surprised.

Seeing the expression on Ana's face, Nyx let her feelings know to Ana.

"I have been in love with you for years, now! When did I fall for you? I don't know... Maybe it was love at first sight? I found myself drawn to you, I was self-conscious around you. I like you, I love everything about you!!! To be honest with you, when you started dating Brad and seeing that it was serious. It broke me apart! This self of mine, Nyx Aurelia-Rose Prince, chose to not fall in love ever. For Nyx, you are Nyx's first love and the last. My soul is divided but since Aaron got himself a girlfriend, I (Nyx) chose to live on and be content with half of my soul be fulfilled with Li Hwa's love. If it's not you, then there's no love for Nyx."

Nyx talked about her cowardice, her fears and hesitations.

It's very hard to confess your feelings to someone without knowing the interest of someone you like.

Since Nyx now knows about Ana's feelings, there's no reason to be afraid anymore.

After sharing their feelings for each other, the two hugged.

After a minute, Nyx broke off the hug and stared deeply into Ana's eyes.

"Hey, this may be the fever talking or I'm too damn emotional right now. Maybe it's both? But Ana, I've been dreaming of kissing you for years now. Can I kiss you?" Nyx asked the beautiful woman in front of her.

She doesn't know what will happen to their relationship, she doesn't know what the future might hold for the two of them.

But right now, she wants to taste Ana's perky cherry blossomed lips!

Nyx didn't wait for Ana's reply before she pressed her lips to Ana's.

The sudden kiss caught Ana off guard but she was happy, Ana then responded to Nyx's kiss.

A handsome young man and an ethereally beautiful woman were sitting on a rock beside a waterfall.

They were gazing at the night sky full stars and two moons.

One of the moons was partially shattered yet it looked wonderful and amazing to look at.

The young man had light green eyes and pale skin. His hair reaching his shoulders, pulled back in a braided ponytail.

He was wearing a black hooded coat with half sleeves and a pair of black jeans. Under the coat, he was wearing a navy blue shirt.

Beside him, the ethereal beauty.

She had long black hair that stretches all the way to her waist and it has a special kind gloss. Her hair was dazzlingly beautiful beneath the starry sky. She had black eyes if one looked closely they could see the reflection of the galaxies on her eyes.

She was wearing similar clothes like the young man beside her.

"I don't know Darkness. How can I make it up to them? I'm a coward, I mess up things...I don't know what to say to them, I don't dare to confront my feelings and let them be exposed to them. What if it turns out the same as what I'm thinking?" The young man asked the Goddess sitting beside him.

Gazing at the stars, the Goddess spoke.

"Human will is consist of feelings. We gods do have feelings but our feelings are not as complicated as you humans. Maybe because we are as old as the universe or maybe it is because as you humans call it, introverts? Is this the right word?"

"Yeah, it is the right word but I would not call gods introverts but lazy and anti-social..." The young man stopped before he sighed, hearing the goddess. The goddess will just ignore anything related to the gods.

"Well anyways, Sometimes you humans will not get another chance to express your feelings. Maybe they are waiting for you to express your feelings. You humans will never know until you express your feelings. The negative thoughts in your head are just negative thoughts, they are not your reality. So don't believe them and find out your reality by yourself. Don't be afraid to share your feelings, either they will accept them or not. But you will be able to move on and face your fears." Darkness said as she waved her hand in front of her.

A few black ominous-looking spears appeared in front her before fading away.

"I see, then I will listen to you... Why did you cast that spell? There's no one around my mana sensors didn't pick anyone." The young man asked in confusion.

"Some people entered my room without my permission." Darkness said in a monotone voice.

"Don't tell me you killed them!"

"I did."

"For chaos's sake! Maybe they went to clean your room, Darkness! Don't kill people without knowing whether they are innocent or not. They were probably housekeepers that entered your room to clean. Don't forget common sense, will you!" The young man facepalmed himself.

"..." Darkness turned to the young man.

"What is it, now?" The young man asked seeing the Goddess staring at him with a strange look on her face.

"You think this Goddess can't clean her own room?"

"No, I don't mean that!" The young man.

"You speak of common sense? I can erase half of the universe with a snap of my finger and it will be considered common sense as I'm the Goddess of Darkness."

"..." The young man.

'Who am I kidding, this woman in front of me is a damn Goddess of Darkness!' The young man said in his mind shaking his head.

"I can hear your thoughts..." Darkness said before looking away from the young man.
