A Fake Friend

Deku sat still on the floor. He was at Uraraka's house with Bakugo, Iida, Kirishima, and a few others like Mina, Jirou, and Momo. He told them all about it, and they looked at him with crazy expressions. "Juvenile Depression, is it?" Momo said, an eerie look in her eyes. "No worries then!" Deku couldn't even listen to her talk without wanting to crawl into the deepest hole and never return. His insides felt like jelly. The way Momo spoke made Deku cringe as if she was scraping her nails on a chalkboard or being some pest to him. "Is there something that you need to tell me, Momo?" Deku said. Momo was now cringing, too, and she was sweating profusely. Deku's temper was rising. "No, of course not," Momo said in a weak voice, as though trying to hide something. "I would never!" Deku looked at her with a dissatisfied look in his eye. Momo was now sweating even harder. Deku realized what this meant. "You knew, didn't you?" Deku said. "And now you think it's okay to just avoid me because it might be true!" Momo looked around. Momo got up and ran out of the room. "Alright, so how are we going to fix this, Deku?" Uraraka said. "Simple," Deku said. "I'm dropping out of UA and going home so I don't endanger me or my friends." Deku left the room, slamming the door behind him. Tears filled Deku's eyes. It was tough, but this was what he had to do, no doubt. When he got home, he ran straight up to his room and slammed the door shut. "Yeah, it's fine," Deku said to himself. "I'll just stay here for eternity."

Deku wiped his tears away and sat up. "No..... there's no need to be sad now!" Deku said to himself. "This is how it all went wrong in the first place!"

Deku stood up, feeling better. "I won't give up now!" he said to himself. "If All for One is going to return, I have to practice to make sure I am ready for it!" He put on a big smile and strode out of his room happily. He said goodbye to his mother and then walked out the door. Although he felt better, there was no doubt that the future would be difficult. Deku then saw a massive shadow in the air. The pressure the shadow was giving off was immense. The air was cool and tense, making Deku shiver every second he felt it. His stomach turned in knots. The dark figure was getting closer and closer. Deku ran and ran, but no matter how hard he tried, the dark presence followed him. The air pressure was even stronger now. He collapsed, ready to admit defeat. If this was going to be a fight, he needed to see his opponent. He turned around, and with a shocked look in his eyes, he gasped and coughed and tried a desperate attempt at running. The figure was none other than All for One.
