Friends versus Friends

Apparently, even with his new handicap, Anubro was powerful enough to manifest into a giant black dog that could, if it was so inclined, destroy everyone and everything around it. Luckily for everyone else but Leo and Morgana, the jackal's steely gaze was focused entirely on those two. 

It hadn't even bothered to look down when it flattened some helpless player who was dumb enough to run underneath it. 

Neither did it dodge when several black-feathered arrows dropped on top of it. The jackal just shrugged them off like they were nothing more than raindrops. 

As for the eldritch jars that were just launched its way, they never made it to the top of the hill as a single, monstrous howl from the Jackal sent a shockwave racing through the air that destroyed the jars, causing them to explode in mid-air and send burning debris down on the patch of land between the Adventour army and the enemy encampment.

"I told you," Morgana sighed. "You jinxed us, Leo!"
