Ch. 47 Lost without thought

After Zack went home we sat in silence for a few moments.

"I wonder when the beast is going to attack." Anyira said breaking the silence.

"We may never know." Zyan answered.

I sat quietly, staring at nothing.

"Myira?." A muffled voice said.

I looked up, "Did someone say my name?" I asked Anyira.

"No, why?" she asked.

"Never mind, I just need some fresh air." I said standing up and heading over to the back door.

I opened it and walked outside. The night sky shimmered with stars without a cloud in sight. I took a breath of the crisp air and looked up at the stars and found Serin. That is what the humans called it anyway but we know it as Zephrith. I studied the star. It looked familiar. My mind ran back and forth.

'Where have I seen that symbol before?' I thought.

I squinted and it hit me. The constellation was the symbol of Shadow. 'How have I not noticed this before' I thought. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath.

"Myira..." a clear voice said softly.

I opened my eyes and looked around. Nothing. I shifted on my feet.

"Hello?" I asked quietly.

Still, nothing. I turned around and headed back inside. When I got back inside I looked at the clock. 8:32 PM. I turned my head. Zyan and Anyira were looking at me.

"Are you alright Myira?" Anyira asked me.

"Yeah, I am fine. Why?" I asked her.

"I was just wondering." she replied.

"I am going to be I am tired." I said yawning. I began to walked toward my room.

"Okay, goodnight." she called.

"Goodnight." I said back.

Once I got into my room I shut the door and sat down on my bed. I just now realized the clothes I was wearing. I began tugging on the top. It wouldn't budge, almost as it was stuck to my skin. I pulled harder. It still wouldn't move. 'How am I going to get this off!' I thought panicking. I yanked and scratched for a good five minutes. I was starting to get angry. I got so mad to the point where white light was coming off from my eyes. It surrounded my body and the clothing began to vanish from my body. I was now completely naked. I walked over to my dresser and got dressed into comfy pajamas flopped onto my bed and fell alseep.
