"Elizabeth we are headed off!"

My brother's call alerted me they were leaving to go to the meeting arranged by the king. To announce his marriage to The Princess of France, or if even though my chances are slim his marriage to me.

"Wait Antony, let me wave you guys goodbye." I quickly walked outside to wave my brothers and fathers outside. Needless to say I felt helpless at that point.

As I waved them goodbye my mother watched from afar. "There's nothing to worry about Elizabeth, you do have faith in your husband don't you?"

"Of course I do mother I love him, but what shall I do if he wishes to take the Princess Of France as his wife. I shall do nothing but go on as if we were never married."

"And what he shall have 2 wives. Well let me tell you this Elizabeth one of them will not be my daughter. Some people might find it fun for their daughters to be the King's mistress but I do not. And neither shall you Elizabeth."

In the future Elizabeth's Grandson will be one of the worst King's in History, but father of the one of the greatest Monarch's to ever live.

As more people arrived to hear my announcement I got anxious. I do not want to marry the Princess of France. I am already married to the love of my life Lady Elizabeth Gray. If only I could tell her of my current situation.

I yearned to be in her arms, or for her to be in mine. Cousin wouldn't be too shocked to believe I went above and beyond to marry her. He cannot change my opinion, but I do not want to disappoint him.

If it weren't for my cousin I wouldn't be here today, claiming the throne that once belonged to my father. Taking revenge for what that dog Henry did to my father and brother. He took off their heads and put it on his wall.

It would only be fair if I did the same to him don't you think.

But at last the only 3 people I actually wanted here had arrived. Elizabeth's Father, her brothers John and Antony. I was about to make a big announcement, I was about to make a big decision.

I had to choose between Love and Power. Now for any other king that would be an easy option. For me it's difficult. If I chose Love..

If I chose love I would be with my chosen queen. Elizabeth Gray, My lovely wife would soon be the Queen of England, and our children to come would be Princes and Princess's.

Once everything settled I cleared my throat and stated "Hello everyone I have invited everyone here today because I your King have a wonderful announcement."

I looked around at everyone, their attention on me. I stared at my cousin, I stared at The French. They expected me to say that I am to be married to The Princess of France.

To not disappoint them I then said...

"Father before he says anything I have something to tell you."

"What Antony? What could you possibly have to tell me that can't wait for later."

"Elizabeth married King Edward, and he is about to announce his marriage to The Princess Of France."

"Oh dear, why would she keep this from us. And your telling me he married her so that he could get her in bed?!!"

"Well father what comes out of his mouth now will prove wether or not that is true."

To not disappoint them I then said..."I am married to Lady Elizabeth Gray. She will be your new Queen!"

'The crowd went wild. The River's looked at me, with a weird look on their faces. A mix of shock and confusion, guess I shocked everyone with that speech huh.'
