Overlord. Yin Yang truth seeking eyes.

Ryuk woke up much sooner than last time as unlike the natural law the Universe seemed more feasible. "Firstly one must first understand our universe before anything. Although we call them realms they are actually micro universes. Major realms are larger universes meaning not only is the capacity of qi which it can hold is large when empty the amount needed to fill it is also large. This is the reason for the greater standards of major realms. That isn't to say micro realms aren't universe's they are similar to artifacts and just graded different in a manner of speaking. Similarily other universes like that are graded. Mirror universe's are like copies of actual universe's made by beings called Mirror gods beings who control the law of mirrors. Mirror universe's are typically the test sites of creators or the abodes they use to keep their families or enemies in. For their loved ones it is an endless space where anything they desire can be found or rather made for their enemies it is an endless torment where their is no begining or end. The mirror Universe is mysterious such that even with the assistance of my Dharmic qi I am unable to perceive its intricacies. That dosent mean actual universe's are incomparable to mirror universes as in the end mirror Universes like the law that governs it is fake and can never compare to true universes. Let me now talk about actual universes. The major thing that defines the grading of a specific Universe is three things. First the creator who bore it. Second the standards at which the beings that reside in the universe grow. Third the amount of qi is can draw from the chaos. Our Universe as an example could be counted as an average graded universe. I am not privy into the details of the creator, but from the visions the Dharma allows me to see I know our standards are greater. Even the weakest beings such as Truth stage experts are able to destroy mountains and turn the seas, but in other universes those powers in even major realms could be counted as top level experts. Although the information I have is not great I can confidently say our Universe ranking isn't considered low." Ryuk seemed to have understood many details yet he still was confused. Ryuk tossed any thoughts to the back of his mind according to nothingness the Buddha like it was a universal being one born from the laws governing our universe and if even he couldn't understand anything how could a simple foundation stage expert furthermore he came from a minor realm of no importance. Ryuk lamented on his unimportance, but he firmed his will and said "So what I'll become the creator. Why? Because then I'll be the strongest and no one will be able to kill me or judge me and I might be able to revive mom. Her soul might be destroyed, but its remains are in the samsara palace. I'll steal her bottle and fix her. Power to decide what I wish. Whether that goes against fate even. That's my desire." A pulsating feeling sprang from his soul that strange energy spread out as if saying "Look at him. He's my guy!"

Ryuk stood up and was questioning what he should do for cultivation techniques. He walked to the librarian "I don't suppose Grandpa book has any cultivation techniques?" Surprised grandpa book said "You dont have a cultivation technique? For anything?" Ryuk nodded. Grandpa book thought and said "I do, but it wont work with you. Furthermore knowing your perverted personality you won't be happy till you make a cultivation technique yourself otherwise in your words it wont be "perfect."" Ryuk said aggrieved "Why is that perverted?" Grandpa book gave Ryuk a stink eye and hmphed. Ryuk sighed and searched the remaining books.

Ryuk kept looking through the library and saw a book that was extremely thin and forgotten. Ryuk pulled out the book and at the front the name made Ryuk gasp. "OVERLORD HUNTING THE WORLD" Ryuk felt his hairs rise and opened the book instinctively. "The world is cruel. Your friends will betray you at the turn of a hand, your lover will poison you for a few benefits. An OVERLORD hunts the world trusting no one. No! He never allows anyone any room to touch him. He arrogantly enters the heavens and asks for all the beautiful women, he fights someone stronger than him because he knows he is the greatest. AN OVERLORD IS ARROGANT, DOMINEERING, AND UNSTOPPABLE." Ryuk whispered the words as his hand danced across the lands. Ryuk felt his will stir like a challenger. The book shook violently and with a dominance a thought popped into Ryuks head. Ryuk found solutions to become greater than any average person, to become greater than what he currently was. It would hurt like a mother fucker, but if Ryuk followed the steps he would literally be a arrogant monster overlooking the world. In Ryuks head a large throne with skulls and swords appeared. There were five steps only one was real the others were ghostly. Ryuk stepped on the step and soon information drilled into his head. "OVERLORD CHALLENGING THE HEAVENS FURY AND WRATH! TEMPER YOUR BODY SO THAT NO WEAPON IN EXISTENCE CAN EVER HARM YOU! Heavenly lightning needed until true god after special universal lightning needed. Warning extremely dangerous.". Ryuk gulped in fear as he saw many people in his head from this book challenge the heavens wrath and fury and fail and die their souls destroyed with no hopes of samsara. "This isn't a body cultivation technique so to say rather its an accessory meant to push a cultivator further similar to a law rather it is a law isnt it after all its present in my soul." Ryuk decided to cultivate this technique not for the benefits, but rather he liked the title OVERLORD HUNTING THE WORLD. Ryuk decided one he left here to begin cultivating it as there weren't any flaws. The actions did hold meaning lightning was known for it's purification abilities and strengthening abilities, but more so this technique was made to further the overlord law in his soul. Unlike other laws like fire where knowledge and understanding is used to further it, overlord needed action. An overlord didn't use words he used his fists after all. Ryuk had furthermore understood a few more things and after getting a new law he said almost instinctively "Laws are first born in our souls. Then they must combine with our Datian after achieving its acceptance. Then our body. Also containing many laws isn't an issue and many beings hold many laws after the birth of the heavenly genius Toru who conceived a way to keep all the laws within. I don't know how I did it, but I have some ease at implementing the laws into my body as if its a matter of fact. Souls similarily to the body needs to make an Ascension and to do that we need to literally traverse past the mortal soul realm. The tributes are made to open the gate to Ascension. The tributes are for normal people made with a single law or their soul. For people like me each tribute is made from a law and if I have too many I have to make additional tributes. This process is a hard and painful process, but a needed one. The soul must show its all otherwise the gate will not be made. Its like someone showing no respect to a god by giving a single coin when they are incredibly rich." Ryuk finished and simply wandered around. As such the third day finished. Ryuk had seven more days yet due to his eagerness he was left with almost nothing to do.

Ryuk read a large book detailing many heros and devils, but there was one that caught his eyes. Shan Yuling and his Yin Yang universe devourer. Shen Yuling was said to be the child from a clan with a very powerful eye bloodline, but his eyes mutated and one was white and the other was black causing him to be bullied and despised. It was only later would his eyes wreak havoc across the universe. The yin yang eyes are said to be able to perceive all the energies in the universe as all things develop from the tao and the tao is developed from Yin yang. The full scope of his abilities was never known, but one of his friends said that actually the Yin and Yang universe devouring eyes were actually a Technique he had enlightenment about. He said the technique altered his bloodline and gave him the eyes. This sent waves throughout the universe and everyone chased Shen Yuling. In the end be died, but there was no technique. Ryuk felt his nerves shiver at the details of his battles. Shen Yuling was said to have combated 1000 gods eventually killing all of them and sending them into the void. Shen Yuling once was at the edge of a endless cliff and by using his Yin Yang eyes he was able to escape, but due to heavy suppression no one knows how. Ryuk immediately took 500 books from the various sections of the library and all of them were related to either Shen Yuling, Yin and yang, bloodlines and technique qualities. Four days later Ryuk woke up and his ancient eyes seemed extremely tired. Ryuk had used infinite thoughts for 943 quadrillion years. Finally he had made slight insights into Yin Yang universe devouring eyes, but they weren't complete and Ryuk needed more research material. The fact Ryuk could do this shows his natural prowess in understanding the intricacies of the universe even if someone else were to be given the same amount of time and information they would most probably not even be able to have 1% of what Ryuk thought of. Shen Yuling was lucky when he developed the technique having natural insights and ideas, but Ryuk had to develop everything from vague concepts. Grandpa book came over and looked and asked in a charming way "Are you trying to reinvent the Yin yang universe devouring eyes?" Grandpa book seemed used to this thought process after all who wouldn't wanr the almighty Yin and Yang. Ryuk looked up and shook his head "Nope. I want to enhance it and defy everything instead of staying within a cage. The Yin and Yang Universe devouring eyes might be powerful even world breaking, but it only capsizes one aspect of the almighty Yin and Yang. It is naturally flawed. To devour and to give that is Yin and Yang, yet to capitalize on one aspect and yet use its opposing nature its a wonder Shen Yuling was alive. Yin and Yang are things that even natural law seems to be within. Natural Law is what holds absolute control over everything even the Universe yet what was before the Natural law. Why does it exist? What was there before it was born? Such like that." Grandpa Book was shocked these ideas seemed simple yet impossible and unconventional. "The technique I have invented is Yin Yang Truth seeing eyes. Following the nature and idea of Yin and Yang an existence where both truths coalesce. You separate two and look at one. That is my technique yet its too basic and dangerous to practice. I need more data to make it." If before Grandpa Book was scared of Ryuk for GODS DISDAINFUL GAZE right now he felt his soul was about to dissipate. "Is this kid correct? What is he? I can understand brother if you get enlightenment. I can even understand if you've lived for billions of years and found this. It's hard, but possible. But little one you realize you are 15 and you are scarier than even my master?" Grandpa Book said as he crawled away in utter disbelief. Ryuk spent the rest of his time understanding Yin and Yang and even wondered "Should I try and get Yin and Yang law? Yeah why not it wont hurt." And like that a spinning Yin and Yang symbol appeared in Ryuks soul. If anyone saw this they would kill themselves and say "Big brother do you know how hard it is to posses a law? It isn't a choice its a fortuitous encounter so how did you get it like that as easy as plucking carrots?"

Soon Ryuks time ended in the Library and he was taken out. Grandpa Book finally let out a stuck breath "Thank god that monster is gone. He's really too much. At first I felt a pressure on my soul, but the longer he stayed the most definite and overbearing it became. He's scarier than even those three old monsters and those saints. He might be weak now, but if he survives my god... Will he be the next creator by any chance? Can Master reincarnate?! Can young master... No he might be great and powerful, but whether he can become a creator. If he defied the universe maybe... Ah I really wonder how far that kid will get. That will I left on you take it as my belief that maybe you can reach there... Ah Im really getting old to be so sentimental. Ah wait! I should have put a seal on him so he could become stronger! Damn..."
