Qin You commanded her subordinates to carry the six kidnappers onto the vehicle.

Turning her head, she glanced at Long Xiaoshan, and then at Gu Jingheng, and asked, "Mr. Gu, we'll need to trouble you to come back with us to give a statement."

"No problem, it's our duty as citizens to cooperate with the police," Gu Jingheng said.

Along with Xiaoshan, they got into Qin You's car.

To conceal Gu Jingheng's identity, Qin You had the other police officers cram into other cars.

Curiously sizing up Xiaoshan, Gu Jingheng asked, "Captain Qin, this young brother is my lifesaver. He claims to be just a simple farmer, but I don't believe that."

"Him? He's a troublemaker," said Qin You, irritated.

"Sister Qin, when did I become a troublemaker?" Xiaoshan said with a smile, having changed how he addressed her now that they were alone.

"Not a troublemaker? Every time I come across you, there's nothing good," Qin You huffed.

Gu Jingheng watched the two banter and smiled slightly.
